Thanks for that bennie that’s exactly what I thought, but online there were articles saying he won the senior ABAs in 1984!!!? People say he lied about his age, and was 2 years older. If so he’s a lowlife beating up kids as a near adult. Again this is unconfirmed but he def drove up to one of his junior titles with a tache and legs hairier than a gorilla..::
George Collins birth was registered in the 4th quarter of 1967
Hmmmm says the paperwork. I mean many travellers don’t register births. I don’t know what the truth is. I’m just saying it’s one rumour
His birth was def registered in that quarter of 1967, it's not like you can backdate it.

No need. I'm just curious...... Ps I don't think you can upload images here, you can only link from an image URL.... though I've had mixed success LOL. But you can upload to an image hosting site like:
https://imgbb.com/
https://imgur.com/
And then post the URL

Haha it's not his birth cert, it's the birth registration which has more limited info, name, mothers maiden name, the year and which quarter, and the registration district!
Nevertheless if you need to find someone, I am your man!!

Frankie Gavin.
People were still hyping him after he’d gone life and death with Curtis Woodhouse.
Gavin was a beautiful boxer, but had that teenaged body. Never seemed to grow into a man. I thought that would hinder him as a pro. Could’ve done with a strength and nutrition coach. He was a little scummer by some accounts so never really liked him
Beautiful boxer… who went life and death with Curtis Woodhouse.
Good amateur but folks simply couldn’t look past that

Remember Baby Joe Mesi as a highly touted contender. Popular Noo Yorker with a big fan base. Built his rep
knocking over club fighters in 10 rounders before stepping up with some big name shop worn old timers.
Monte Barrett was mugged on the cards, before he survived a hellacious last round with Jirov in his first foray
at heavyweight. Ring magazine had him front page and Ray Leonard signed him up and there were whispers of a stadium fight with a post Williams/McBride ....Tyson.
Allan Green was touted in certain quarters, on the strength of a top am career. Was highly vocal when not invited to the Super Six and then fell well short when subbed into the tournament as a replacement. To be fair, it was Ward who
schooled him, before a 40 yr old Glen Johnson stopped him. The hype was over.

Mesi retired unbeaten. I think he had medical reasons.

And he did well after boxing. It's a hyped/highly rated thread.

Duncan Dokiwari looked like a beast, was a Commonwealth heavy champ and Olympic bronze medalist. But the aforementioned Guinn popped his bubble and he never did a thing. Guinn basically was a journeyman within two fights as well.
