I’d imagine him being like a Joe Pesci/Tommy devito character. You’d probably have to deal with his fellow Georgian criminal friends as well.

Anyone saying Paul Sykes wouldn’t be good back up in a pub must be tripping. He’s big, can bang, looks insane and if you’re a pretty boy may even Joe Bugner you.

Andy Ruiz would be the funniest. Everyone would assume he’s a fat, greedy and unfit teenager until he chins them all

Who would be daft enough to start a fight with him in a pub?
Maybe if he owned it and his taps were broken.

I'd pick different guys depending on the venue and atmosphere. Like in a cramped pub with a low ceiling the big heavies might not be as advantageous. I'd go with someone like Briedis, Ruiz or Parker for those, who are all chilled enough and don't have wind-up faces. (Unless Andy stole someone's pie.)

In the carpark you'd go for size, chin and aggression. I think Joyce'd take your punch and only shove you on your arse! And we've seen what a liability Fury is near a field, so I might take a punt on Helenius.

Galento's gotta be up there if we're including historic fighters. For his rep if not actual ability. And I can't see anyone messing with prime Frazier.

Terry Dunstan struck me as a dangerous fella and I think he did bird for being some sort of enforcer. Danny Mcintosh. I think he would be just really up for it if his back was against the wall.

I make you right👍

coneye wrote: 01 Sep 2021, 06:41 It really is about levels is'nt it , fighting sports have weights to stop good little ens , getting hurt by good big ens ,, and profesional fighters at least 9 out of 10 times are always going to have the fitness and knoledge over the guys who are sort of self taught , and even then theres variables . Good days bad days , really just be a nice person , , but smash bullies , i hate them   .
💯👏👏 Life's hard as it is without going looking for trouble.

Apparently when Evatt and Blue Boy Gallagher went out on the piss together it was a proper nightmare for the local community!

Josh Warrington. Plenty of scope for that head to be used on the cobbles.
