diaz doing well, pushing pace and making it rough. losing on points, but he isnt going to win on points. Needs to make it rough and tiring and try knock a tired haney out late.

Round 4 - Diaz

Jo Jo pinned Haney in a corner and began landing his left hand upstairs. Popped a few nice jabs too. Diaz wants to make it ugly but Russell Mora isn’t having it.

Haney 39 - 37 Diaz. Good last round by JoJo.

Diaz has no answer to those body shots which is a bit concerning.

Round 5 - Diaz

Close round. Haney given a hard warning for repeated and obvious low blows. Diaz hurt Haney with a left hand to the body. Diaz blocking most of Haney’s combinations but not being active enough himself.

Round 6 - Haney

Got it 58-56 for Haney at the midway point. That was a really nice round for him. Beautiful movement out of the corner. Circling half the ring back and forth. Mixing in the overhand right.

59 - 55 Devin, masterful sixth round by him

Round 7 - Diaz

Haney was in control and then Diaz landed several left hands in a row. Diaz is an incredibly skilled pugilist. His ability to slip the right hand as a southpaw is simply amazing.

Rd 7 Haney starts strong Diaz lands the harder cleaner punches. Diaz rd.

Have it 67 66 Haney after the 7th

Haney is a beautiful ring general. too bad he has no punch to go with it. great generalship.

R8 Haney moving more and can’t miss when he targets the body. Diaz aggression nullified in that rd.

Round 8 - Haney

Not a lot from either guy. A lot of movement and excellent defense from Haney. Rendered Diaz very ineffective. At some point Mora has to take a point from Haney for the low blows.

Diaz well on his way to either a surprise KO win or something like a 117-111 loss...

Close but underdogs dont get the close rounds on the house fighter or the fighter with more upside. I have haney up 6-3

Round 9 - Haney

Good round. Diaz is hanging in there but Haney is in control. Looked like Haney hurt Diaz a little with a hard right hand. Diaz returned the favor with a few grazing lefts. Another hard warning for Haney’s low blows after a plethora of soft warnings.
