Quite a lot to like about Azim but I wanna see him sparked. You can’t be doing the Ronaldo celebration then say you’re a hardcore Liverpool fan.
Unforgivable.

Can't think of any other British prospect I'm more excited about... great footwork, superb handspeed and packing power. Also really liked the way he picked his shots to finish it and didn't rush, so composed considering his stage of development. The complete package by the looks of things.

Took him off the corner post and told him to calm down, Charlton was still being looked at by the doc.

That was quality from Azim made that a mismatch, uses that range so well and has incredible variety, really put it on Charlton, hurt him several times in the 1st before putting him down with a right, he'd missed a few but landed that one sweet, put Charlton down again at the bell with a top drawer left hook, Charlton was never gonna recover and that last right hand for the KO in the 2nd sent him face first through the ropes, Boxxer and Sky taking real chances having Azim headline cards after a handful of fights but he's doing the bizz for sure and it's one thing Azim and Shalom claiming to be the next best thing but when Shane McGuigan says he's the most talented boxer he's worked with you take notice

Azim looks the business. I really rate Shane McGuigan as a trainer too. The corner shouldn’t have let the second round take place as it was clear what was going to happen.

The singing beforehand was disrespectful to Charlton who’s getting cold in the ring. I wouldn’t have had any issue if he’d just returned backstage. The money spent on a show should be going to the fighters - not some random signing probably pocketing more than some of the fighters on the show.

It is hard to match make the kid he is 20 and probably growing into this weight it could well be worth taking him to the states and get some proper old school sparring!

reminds me a lot of young khan........really fast hands and winging in a lot of big shots. obviously very talented offensively, want to see what he's got on the other end but could be a while.

so far he's being moved at a good pace for his age and getting it done in style. with his attitude and the show around him ppl are going to want to see him chinned eventually though

That's the real question isn't it ?
He's clearly going to be far too good for anyone at a lower level and will demolish them.
But when he meets top end domestic guys/European level guys and starts getting clipped back, we might be able to tell how good he really is, and importantly how well he holds a shot.

Did Charlton make it out of hospital okay? Quite a beating he took in there. Brave but not close to Azim's level.

Can't wait to see Azim in with someone who can test that chin/defence. Offensively he's already outstanding.

Broken orbital bone for Charlton.

Saw an interview with McGuigan and they want Luca Ballingall next for the English. Makes sense and Azim might get a few more rounds.

The kid seems like a real prospect indeed but needs a proper proper test within the next 12 months. Marku or Smith would be ideal and you’d have to favour him against both.

Sensible options would be Lewis Ritson after Balingall and then Smith for the British unless he’s vacated it. Then if he has he fights for the vacant; win win situation.

So far so good though… wonder when they’ll push him on PPV… it’s coming.

Yeah he’s good. Broken orbital bone though which will take some healing.
