Wonder what wrong with Hughie..
Waiting an extra month or so so to gain even more man strength ?
Legit reason or show poorly sold... bet nowmaverick23 wrote: ↑15 Jun 2022, 08:09 Hughie’s ill so the whole show (including Ricky be Barrera) has been delayed to an as yet TBC date.

Both I reckon.Glass Joe wrote: ↑15 Jun 2022, 09:03Legit reason or show poorly sold... bet nowmaverick23 wrote: ↑15 Jun 2022, 08:09 Hughie’s ill so the whole show (including Ricky be Barrera) has been delayed to an as yet TBC date.
Not many the last time I looked. They’d set it up for what looked like 6,000 but no idea how many of those 6,000 actually sold.tony1234 wrote: ↑15 Jun 2022, 09:03Wonder how many tickets were sold ?maverick23 wrote: ↑15 Jun 2022, 08:09 Hughie’s ill so the whole show (including Ricky be Barrera) has been delayed to an as yet TBC date.
Hardly any. Ricky Hatton in Manchester with Barrera didn't sell..... so who did they bring in to boost it? TV gold Hughie himself.maverick23 wrote: ↑15 Jun 2022, 09:27Not many the last time I looked. Might be a few more fights cancelled in the near future, nobody will be able to afford the petrol for the drive to the venue let alone a ticket to get inmaverick23 wrote: ↑15 Jun 2022, 09:27Not many the last time I looked. Yep. People are looking to cut back and a night at the boxing, for any show really, is expensive all in. There were few people at the recent Buatsi/Richards show, very few at the Riakporhe show and Frank hasn’t sold many outside of Fury all year.tony1234 wrote: ↑15 Jun 2022, 11:15Might be a few more fights cancelled in the near future, nobody will be able to afford the petrol for the drive to the venue let alone a ticket to get inmaverick23 wrote: ↑15 Jun 2022, 09:27Not many the last time I looked. These were two separate bills I thought? I’m confused as to why Hatton cancelled cos Hughie isn’t boxing?mickey1975 wrote: ↑15 Jun 2022, 10:22

Sky eventually agreed to show the Hatton fight. With no proper main event they couldn’t really just show the Hatton exhibition so decided to postpone the whole thing.JamesPhilips wrote: ↑15 Jun 2022, 12:31These were two separate bills I thought? Probably misjudged Ben Whitaker's ticket selling ability.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑24 Aug 2022, 10:55Why is it B’ham?mickey1975 wrote: ↑24 Aug 2022, 10:32 I really don't get why this is on in Birmingham, just like I haven't understood a lot of arena shows recently.
