Looking at his record he won his British title outright the hard way. After knocking out Gary Delaney for vacant Title he Beat an undefeated Pele Reid, Danny Williams and also Scott Welsh. Wouldn't have supposed me if he was underdog in all those defences. Also remember him knocking out an undefeated Swedish guy in Sweden and giving Sam a harder fight than prime Williams.

This is why it always cracks me up when some no-marks talk about boxers and say 'in real life' they can't handle themselves against a streetfighter or trained martial artist. Usually some MMA cretins who think in 'real fights' they can just grapple and kick a pro-boxer with their superior skillsets.
Then you see a 57 year old ex-boxer absolutely ruin somebody with one shot off the back foot that probably wasn't even thrown at full whack. You can only imagine what a pro in their prime could do.

Sparking someone should be the last thing you have to do. I don't agree with this. The lad had created a disturbance and was coming at Julius at the time. In my opinion the punch didn't have to be thrown. Julius could have pushed him away firmly. I just think security should do everything they can to avoid throwing punches. In my opinion, Julius has to be able to justify that by saying it was self defence but was it? The chap was aggressive but a firm push would have created distance and then if the lad comes toward you aggressively, then it's reasonable but lets remember it only takes one punch like that for a guy to bang his head on the ground and die. How many of you think that Julius would get off in court if that had happened? I understand the counter argument that if the lad throws a punch at Julius and Julius falls and hits his head he could be the one who gets seriously injured. He has a right to protect himself. I just don't think the situation was at the stage where a punch had to be thrown.

To be honest I think there will be a comeback for Julius.
He calmed a situation before it escalated more and taught the mouthy aggressive pr1ck a lesson.............which is where everyone is in total agreement. But if a Policeman, plod, rozzer had of done that....all hell would have broken loose. They be saying he overstepped the mark, was totally out or order, abusing his authority because he was a bigger guy etc. People cant have things both ways. Well they can if it suits the situation.

julius didnt throw a punch until the already aggressive dude, who i think had already thrown punches, came towards him and raised a hand. the shot looked out of instinct more than it did some lined up bully boy haymaker. obviously julius is gonna be handier with his fists than the average bloke, and he prob could've also pushed him off or tackled him with the size difference, but it had gotten to a point where i think he has justification for his response
plus this dude hadnt let up at all, despite repeated attempts from both security and his own mates. if julius just pushed him away it could've driven him even crazier, and who knows what he was carrying or would've done.

Looks like Julius drew the mouthy aggressive pr1ck out of the fracas he was creating rather than allow him to cause anymore chaos. He brought him away from his mouthy pals feeding off each other and knuckle slapped him to sleep. He was a patient man.

Couple of ways at looking at it….
- Did you like what Julius did. Did the guy deserve it. Majority will say yes!
- Could Julius have protected himself differently by shoving the bloke, or shutting him down by bear hugging him. Probably again a firm yes. He was twice the size and could have used a more proportionate response.
His defence will have to be that he felt threatened and reacted on instinct.

Police have confirmed they’ll be taking no further action after speaking to the people involved and reviewing the CCTV.

wELL JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE i was glad to see the little toe rag get a slap , it might teach him to behave in future ,I'm also glad its ended at that and theres no ramifications for Francis , however he was lucky he could of killed the kid , he could of de escalated it by using less force , he was only small just grab him pick him up and throw him out would of worked , headlock him and march him out would of worked , Francis can count himself lucky he's not in bother ,,, A lawyer could easilly argue that Francis , put himself between the fookwit and the exit , and when walking out the fookwit was raising his hand in a get out my way gesture not a punch , it could be argue that francis walked around others to block his exit because he was sick of him and seconds earlier the idiot had been abusing him .
Overall a good result but i would'nt be hitting people to often if i was him

NFA. As stated and expected. I've been dealing with this stuff (and military law too) for over thirty years in a professional capacity and seen this thing happen hundreds of times. Of course lots of posters on here expected Julius to be in trouble because they know better.

Glad to hear the police won't be investigating the matter. I'll be very surprised if a civil claim isn't in the works but great day for Francis.

I've given my opinion what today's society in the UK is like. Ever fker is trying to rob someone else. You can't watch any TV channel these days without commercials advertising 'have you suffered......' call the helpline now.
I'm all for what Francis did, the only thing he did wrong was he should have made his point more clear in a secure environment where no one was looking and filming.
My view point is that someone will try to rob Francis of his earnings by being a total pudendum and having a slap.
