What's to stop Eubank agreeing to it .. then just coming in 3-4lb over.
Give up some money - but the Eubanks are all attention seekers firstly .. so Eubank would milk the win for more than he would have to give up anyways.

Still don't see this happening - not unless Eddie is desperate for a DAZN date and Conor has no other easy options.

Neither Benn or Eubank JR are anywhere near where the dads were so so its hard to get invested .

i think Weights are still being sorted. Hearn and Benn have/had to look like they are willing to walk away if Eubank wont come down enough or take a hydation clause. Thats my guess.

as a fan I personal hate hydration clauses. agree a weight and let that be the end of it. 154 seems right to me, split the difference.

It's impossible to cut too much weight safely, it just can't be done and its a stupid match to make

Eddie is a very clever man and I don’t think he would want his cash cow going against Eubank without it being massively in his favour. Making Eubank come down and not being allowed to rehydrate to what he wants to would be a massive advantage to Benn anyone who doesn’t think so doesn’t understand just how big cutting weight is.

Keep saying its been clinicly thought out , Only fight for Benn he gets kudo's for losing ,, so its that step up without stepping up ,,, what makes a sour taste is the rehydration clause , it actually gives Benn a decent chance if it affects Chris to the extent he's weakened ,, i don't like them losing, and keeping off the weight, can be dangerous , boxers have died and will die again from it .

For that i really hope that Eubank is'nt too badly affected , and actually manages to retain his strenght , then goes out and beats the living crap out of Benn.

While you are right Eubank is fresh because of limited amateur experience, not many hard fights and has never fought regularly.

If anything inactivity will hurt him.

And the weight is a killer, esp for a 12 round fight.

Benn will be desperate for his boy to win, he still hates Eubank.

What happens to the winner in this? No one knows if it’s a good performance or if they’ve just won due to the handicap of the other.

So Benn wants to drag Eubank down to a weight that is more than two pounds lighter than Eubank has ever weighed as a pro and that's still not enough for him.

Well, at least he is in good company, as there is historical precedent for this among the greats. Here's what was recently found in some never-before-seen archives:

I am yet to find the ones from Armstrong to various champions, Duran to Leonard and Hagler, Napoles to Monzon, Moore to Marciano, etc, but I'm sure they're there somewhere.
