Jai's manager saying there is s voluntary option and he likes what he sees- if the money is there.
After tonight CBS Vs Jai Opetaia sell tickets in Blighty or Oz, doesn't matter.

Those are two really tough fit bastards.
If Smith can fight Jai Opetaia for the title, bring it on!
I saw them talking about thaat even had jais promoter out there... but, jai just broke his jaw. surely he is taking a good chunk of time off. Then i would of thought he would cherry pick the absolute weakest ranked guy to fight in aus as a comeback fight (thats what id do). then biliam smith would have to pay squillions to get him in england, beacause jai could try get a champion to aus for a unification and make millions.

Despite the lack of love for Smith I reckon he genuinely cares about British boxing and sky could actually deliver more quality fights like this .

It's been screwed, should only be 3 months. I think Jai could manage CBS. I would definitely be interested in the fight. And let's not get carried away, tonight we saw a good domestic level dust up. Jai is a newly minted world champ

Why is Pigford boxing Sadio Mane?

Pigfords got a 12 inch chin and a neck like a pencil. feel like when he steps up a crisp hook to the chin could create the best slowmo knockout of all time. so much leaverage to get that head spinning.

Loved everything about the B-S/Chamberlain fight and build up.

Old school, no hyperbole and just a brilliant fight. The crowd were superb too partic the reaction for Chamberlain at the end.

Type of hour that makes you fall back in love with boxing. Hope both are really well after it.

Probably mate, but it will be a fun watch. Neither guy is boring, they both will bring it.

Where does Chamberlain go from here? He's clearly talented. I watched a rerun on YouTube. My mate was watching live and said it was a proper crowd pleaser. It was a very good fight but cbs just pulled away at the end. I like both.

Just caught up with this on YouTube.

It's mad with cruiserweight. A CW sized guy would generally be the biggest and most menacing guy in a pub, as heavyweight sized guys are fairly rare, but they absolutely go at it in a way that heavyweights generally don't. Big guys throwing lots of punches and shipping a lot of damage.

It should rightfully be a glamor division, instead of it's current standing.

Proper fight, that.

Excellent fight

So much better than watching a Brit coasting to victory over some no name European with a padded record

Yea Cruiser weight is wildly underated, the biggest normal dudes that have 12 round cardio.... But, theres good reason its not the glamour division, because the best "cruiserweights" decide fight heavyweight.

It's just interesting. Super middle had its time, especially with the super 6, and LHW has always had a bit of shine and big names. It's funny how CW never really gets it's props other than from hardcore fans. I know all the best cruisers eventually make their way to heavy to get full recognition. It's just that at CW the fights are more evenly matched and fought at a different pace than heavy, where you've got the serious fornicating units.

CW should have more interest. Genuinely big guys going at it.

Anyway, that was a good fight. Hope they both got paid well.

A real mixed bag of a show.

The main event was exactly what we expected. An excellent and competitive fight between 2 guys at a good level. It’s no surprise that when you get 2 decent Brits fighting for the British or European then it’s rare you get a bad fight.

I wish we had more fights like this on TV. I hope both fighters are fine and CBS is one of my favourite fighters now. Rarely in a bad fight and seems like a good bloke. Being a promotional free agent will hopefully mean he gets an excellent payday next time out.

The undercard was what I dislike about boxing. Some really poor fights. I get that new pros should get a few soft touches initially but they shouldn’t have so many on the same show.

Shrewd move from Edward to allow Billam-Smith to defend in Bournemouth on another channel

Not like him to drop the ball tbh
