There again, they were all facing live opponents and not their mate who they had already beaten twice.
Did what?
Switch their trainers?

'Get f***ed!': Tyson Fury hits out at Derek Chisora for asking for more money to make their trilogy bout... as the Gypsy King hints that the proposed fight with his heavyweight rival is now OFF

Tyson Fury has indicated that his proposed trilogy bout with Derek Chisora will no longer be taking place after claiming that his rival has been asking for too much money.

The Gypsy King has been telling fans in recent days that he will be making a comeback to the ring, and that he wants to fight Chisora for the third time.

It was reported on Tuesday that Goldstar Promotions, who handle Fury's meet-and-greets, had sent a proposal to Chisora, with a date in December at the Principality Stadium being eyed. However, Fury has now hinted that the fight won't go ahead due to Chisora's financial demands.

'Do you know, the funny thing is, people love to do deals and then ask for more or change the goalposts,' he said in a video posted on Twitter.

'But the usual thing is for me is then I tell them to go get f*****, so there we are.'

It remains to be seen whether this is the end of discussions between Fury and Chisora as the pair have been going back and forth at each other on social media recently.

Fury previously labelled Chisora a 'chicken' for refusing to sign a contract to fight him, while his domestic rival hit back by claiming that he had not been sent through any paperwork.

In the pair's previous two encounters in 2011 and 2014, Fury was a convincing winner on both occasions.

He won a unanimous points verdict the first time, and then stopped Chisora after ten rounds in their return fight.

Given the one-sided nature of those victories, it did seem like a strange choice of opponent for Fury to return against after he had claimed he intended to retire from the sport following his win against Dillian Whyte in April.

Fury's promoter Bob Arum did play down the chances of Fury taking on Chisora earlier this week as speculation ramped up, insisting that the 33-year-old was winding people up, and that the plan was to wait to see how Anthony Joshua and Oleskandr Usyk's rematch later this month played out before deciding on Fury's next fight.

'Everybody is waiting for the fight to happen a week from Saturday and then we'll explore whether it's feasible to do a fight for the complete unification. He's having fun, for Christ sake! Don't take it seriously!' Arum said.

'The truth is that he gets up in the morning and he figures how he can best stir up s*** and that's what he does. (Fury) is just having fun. It's his idea of fun.'

I would absolutely love seeing Chisora KO Fury. It wouldn’t happen, of course, but it would be wonderful.

According to various newspapers, Fury has signed to box 38 year old Chisora for a third time on the 3rd December 2022.

Personally, I am delighted. The first two fights were so close and left so many unanswered questions..

It will be interesting to see how the general public responds to this fight. Will they embrace it or will it be a muted affair?
