Does this help Davis' P4P argument?

Those cards are shocking and should be investigated- not again boxing ! :brick:

Glad they didn’t matter.

Yes - top contender swatted aside with minimal fuss.

well, 5-1 and 4-2 i dont have a problem with, but the second round scoring is odd

He has avoided the very best.
But it is definitely a decent win.

Would have liked to see Garcia try make that count. He was hurt but didn’t look crippled by it, Garcia hits hard enough that tank couldent just swarm him, so he might have been able to back foot recover for a while, think he just knew he was outclassed judging by what I’m reading… (haven’t seen the fight yet fornicating over time…)

Garcia has a lot of good wins, incredible speed and big advantages in reach. BUT it took a round and a half to become obvious he had almost no chance at all.

Didn't even 'break him down' he one-punched him for a KD and a KO.
was obvious he had no chance before the first bell rang if u got any clue bout boxing.

People used to try insult him by saying he will be the next Amir Khan..that's an insult to Khan who managed to archive enough to end with a respectable career
Garcia may not even be capable of being the next Victor Ortiz..who at least had better wins to point to, despite being exposed himself :o

I had it 68-63 to Tank up to and including the stoppage 58-55 before it. Second round was tough to score but you would usually see it as a 10-8 but 10-9 or 10-10 probably more accurately reflects the round.

Garcia had some success but Tank was too quick and looked like his camp was perfectly designed to counter Ryan's skills. His left hand was landing every time while Ryan's barely did. Ryan then struggled to find a plan B.

Who knows what would have happened if Ryan was not drained...

the rehydration clause was useless anyways. how exactly was he drained? did he look drained in there? gaining 10 pounds over night and open end til the bell rings.

maybe they really just did that shit to run the shitshow again without any rehudration clauses.

like it would make any difference.

It might not but you never know. He could have been that split second slower, a tiny bit more fatigued or a tiny bit weaker. All those things play a big part in high level fights. If it wasn't necessary, why was it demanded.

I really like those cards. Garcia was clearly winning R2 for 2 minutes, Tank didn't land a single punch. Garcia was aggressive, landed a few and Tank kept jumping in and holding.

It is unusual for it not to be 10-8, but I feel 10-9, or even 10-10 is a more fair reflection, and I'd like to see it more often

Tank fought a drained yt influencer with no boxing fundamentals and skills in a big money show. It seems that this will be the trend of boxing, like boxers fighting high profile names who practice boxing as a hobby.

I'd like to see Golovkin fighting guys like Jake Paul, Mamoa, Mario Lopez, Bieber, Kevin Hart, Usher and Mark Wahlberg! :box: :bag:

I'm pretty sure G would keep up his KO ratio!

Nope. Too many fundamental holes even considering his number of fights. Never mind Bam Rodriguez or Devin Haney, Garcia doesn’t look as well schooled as someone like Joe Cordina, to me. Defensively he’s all over the place, lacks ideas offensively.

Why pretend Garcia can’t box? Been boxing since he was a kid, amature wins over Haney, Vergil Ortiz… pro win over Campbell and fortuna…. Comparing Garcia to YouTube boxing is just strait up bitterness…

Garcia looked like a tense yt influencer trying to box inside that ring. Even Tank said that Garcia has no fundamentals and no defense. It was a cherrypick fight for Tank who has a padded record just like Garcia does. :OhYes:

Some people are so gullible and even like these type of mockeries. lol
