Must be making for some terrible viewing. It’s so flat here.
There is a local ticket seller - Harvey Dykes - but they have shoved him on last to keep everyone here.
It hasn’t worked. A lot of his fans have given up as well - it’s not far off midnight.

I fought Harry Andrews in Brighton, football fan, sold the place out completely for a 4 rounder.
Paul Halpin could sell tickets too
great stuff did you have many fights Coco?

Tyson, Hughie, Gypsy John, Tommy, Phil, Shane, Young and Romeo, have I missed any out?
Hugh (RIP), who was Phill's father I believe. I think Peter had a pro fight.
Aye wasn't sure about John's brothers
Peter had 1 pro fight in '88

Did anyone see the Welch fight? Showing as a KO - I fell asleep so not sure if I fell asleep before it was shown, or it not shown at all. Can only find interview about it not footage. Cheers.

Saw it live. He looked quite handy and carries a bit of power at that level.

Don’t see why Welch vs Geordie Drago can’t be looked at?

In a normal world a fight between Harlem and Benn as an eliminator for the British title would make perfect sense, it'd be an interesting clash of styles and personalities.
Senior isn't everyone's cup of tea but I've got to say i found it very refreshing to hear someone of substance in the game giving little Conor a bit of stick with his very thinly veiled references to him being a cheat. So many others have skirted round the issue which is pretty poor.
Sr talking nonsense about Harlem moving up to 147, he'd get flattened
By a non juiced up Conor ? 50-50 fight.

Juice or no juice Conor would flatten Harlem with his right hand, far too easy to hit is Eubank

not a bad shout, it's a quick way to a WBC title albeit a weird illegit one recognised by no other sanctioning bodies

Eubank continues to improve and is being developed really well. That's a solid win over a game opponent.....Jack Catterall take note: that's how you entertain the paying punters & TV viewers
A good night's work from Harlem

Good main event, but the other fights shown weren't much cop.
Roman Fury performed well enough and clipped his opponent nicely for his first stoppage win.
Not sure what all the fuss for Harvey Dykes was about, other than him being a local. Out of shape, horrible style and boxed a fat Weeble with a pair of boxing gloves on. Dykes is going nowhere unfortunately and will become a spoiler as soon as he meets half way decent opposition.
Lerrone Richards just doesn't get the pro game
Coasts to another points win over a tough, but very limited opponent

Who does he think would want to buy a ticket to see him box

The fuss around Dykes was the number of tickets he sold.
If it wasn’t for him the show would have been half empty. When the promoters realised how many tickets he had sold, they moved him from 7pm to the last TV slot to keep everyone in the Arena.
Isn’t he a former ABA champ? Did you see anything of him in the Ams?

Makes sense
I've never heard of him, but I don't follow the Ams like I used to. Unfortunately, winning an ABA title now doesn't mean what it used to. Wasn't there a breakaway outfit a few years ago ?
I can see with his speed how he could pick pocket a decision over 3 rounds in the amateurs.

dykes was speedy and moved well. seemed well schooled. that said gave some vibes of a guy better suited for the ams who may lack power/strength. and didnt look in shape
but still, id be interested in seeing how he progresses domestically
