andrade just didnt have power whilst DB clearly is very heavy handed and didnt really need to work that hard to get the stoppage .
Canelo will be another thing altogether .

Andrade just cashed in.
They both cashed in, since Canelo has avoided both for many years.
Congrats to both fighters for taking this fight. Canelo has 0 rationale for avoiding Benavidez now, and maybe one of the Charlos or Munguia will grow enough sac content to fight Andrade now.
To those who claim Benavidez is not in entertaining fights: try opening your eyes for the next one.

andrade was signed to fight jermell for the wbc title and pulled out himself, giving up his mandatory spot. he also gave up his mw belt to turn down a fight with jani that wouldve been far more interesting than his usual bouts. not buying the everyone was ducking him nonsense he wanted people to believe. he had fights on his plate that would've boosted his stock had he won, but he didnt take them.
running out of time he finally had to make a move

"The corruption has to stop."
Are either of you listening Mr Sulaiman or Mr Canelo?
I thought not.
Okay, well then we'll have to keep asking until you do.

Walk in the park for Benavidez.
Andrade not only smaller but completely out of his depth...Benavidez is a special fighter.

Benavidez looked really good, he's a very exciting boxer to watch and knows when he's in the spotlight and how to deliver on it.
Andrade looked ok and put up a decent showing, but this is Benavidez time and he was just outgunned.
Good fight, it lived up to expectations.

I have a different perspective to some in that Andrade was out-skilled, of course, out-powered too. Benavidez figured him out after a couple of rounds. Andrade, touted as a defensive whizz, had no ability to get away from that uppercut. He was also disorganised on his feet. I think this shows that traditional boxing styles are taught for a reason.

Comparing it lately with Stevenson and the Charlo's, Andrade looked better than that even though he got stopped.
He made a fight of it and hit Benavidez on a number of occasions.

He landed an impressive combo in one of the early rds then completely burnt out in the following rounds and wasn’t able to do much at all.

Considering what was in front of him Andrade did well.
