Difficult to pay attention for many on this particular week. Focus is on finishing calendar jobs and prepping for a solid 9 days of holiday.
Deep card with plenty of talent on it but pick 'em fights are few and far between. Hope there are some cracking fights but If it plays out the way I expect it will people will be wondering afterward what all the fuss was about.
how do you like that, rasta man? big upset by agit! and wilder schooled by aj's leftovers
Might need to dig out another old account and username after that.

The blood was the only thing that made that fight look competitive. Fury won about ten rounds.

nah, 8-4ish fight. fury wwas hurt in the 12th too. that cut was among the most grusome ive seen (47 stitches for it). and fury had more than just that one cut - he had a black eye on the other side and a smaller cut too. far more trouble than joshua had..... josh didnt lose 10 seconds let alone a round of this fight. joshua wasnt shred to pieces. joshua wasnt hurt.

here's a good selection of cards - many in the 8-4/7-5 range https://eyeonthering.com/boxing/tyson-f ... tto-wallin

several 8-4/7-5 cards in the round by round thread too viewtopic.php?t=233641&start=75

even fury's own promoter posted a video of the fight titled ' THE PUNCH THAT NEARLY DEFEATED TYSON FURY'. it was wallin who was bleeding vs josh though

Choose one then. Let's see how you fare.
Parker. Doesn't mean he'll do it but he has a chance. Most fights have a favourite but it doesn't mean they'll all be one sided beatdowns.

Night of, in the main, anti-climaxes but there's scope for the bottomless pit of Saudi Riyal to make better match ups next time.

The night of the multiple usernames :yay:

Imagine being so upset about making a tit of yourself over a boxing card coming to fruition you said wouldn't happen, that you go and dig out an old username to start posting under again

Yh he been carrying Al that hype since the Fury loss.. then it nearly died out.. he got a decent win over Gassiev though. Then on the back off that, got this.

But was little exposed here.

AJ doesn’t struggle with southpaws. He just struggled with Usyk.

Most did but Joshua was familiar with him from sparring sessions and tackled him like he knew Wallin didn't have the power to trouble him. A confidence booster for Joshua but the next guy he fights with KO power will be a truer test of where he is at.

Activity plays a big part in the fight game. Both Deontay and to a lesser extent (as I don’t think he would have won either way) have taken so much time off. Deontay really hasn’t had a fight since Fury. Strange style with his feet close to each other bouncing all over. Used to be a wide stance slugger. Trainer makes no sense but too late to change. Wallin looked awful his last fight. Pitty Pater. Anyone who saw his last performance should have known AJ would walk through him. Big credit to the winners.

nice win ffor aj. didnt lose 10 seconds vs a guy who shred fury's face to bits, hurt him, and won rounds in lasting the distance

wallin boxed 12 rounds 3 months ago. this was his third fight in 2023. he boxed 18 rounds in 2022 as well. he was not inactive at all.
