Its a hard combo... incredibly negative with very fast hands.... So if you over open up you can be countered.

fornicate id shit my pants laughing if merhy pulled the KO win haha...

you dont have to go wild, but you can put it on a guy more than this. merhy has shown no ambition to score a stoppage and has never stoppped anyone decent anyway, even at cruiser

merhy's record gonna be like 42-15 eventually if this is his approach , maybe he's just so intimidated, or maybe he sees the money in being a high level journeyman rather than winning mostly on belgium cards

just needs a couple more like this to show that he's unlikely to beat the promoters boys

and the crowd goes mild as the bell rings

ryad merhy with 10 punches a round pushes anderson to the brink, only losing every round by miles

did he slightly stagger anderson last exchange? andersons back leg stiffened a bit weird... probably just balance.

Anyway, he landed some shots last round, if he had of tried he would of at least been a punchers chance.

Would like to see betting looked at a little bit here... did he chuck his person on anderson via decision... its just too pathetic attempt at a great oppertunity for me to belive to be possible.

i mean, if youre going all these rounds, and the guy's not hurting you, and you land okay when you do throw, shouldt you get more confidet? merhy here though showed none of that. just wanted to survive, i think we'll see him as more a journeyman at hw, cashing out his nice looking record

even with the loss 32-3 still looks pretty good

I just think he is too dangerouse as a journyman right now. like if he turns up like that he is a good journymen for sub brittish levle to get rounds (but also creates a boring fight) so mabey has the use for a fisher or moses or adeley type... But what if he decides to fight? scary guy for those types and possibly too big a step up.

You either wanna book a tune up journyman or a chalanging oponent... you dont wanna book on a cointoss at either.

for now he's still above that, we havent seen enough of these performances from him to be confident that's how he'll turn up. but if he puts these in in his next few fights vs notable opponents, he'll be well on his way to building that trust

Can someone give a summary of Vianello/Ajagba? Expected Efe to make light work of Guido beforehand.

Easy shut out for Anderson, he'll have harder sparring sessions and that's how he ended up treating it, just methodically outboxed and outworked Merhy, switched lefty/righty constant, worked the body as he likes to do, nothing flashy I suppose you'd like to have seen Anderson really up the tempo and try to get the stoppage but easier said than done against someone like Merhy who was nothing short of a disgrace, I'd have slung him out after 5 rounds, ref should've told him to let his hands go, it's bad enough when journeymen fight like that against novices but for a guy who's mixed at world level is plain wrong, never let his hands go until the last round, came to survive, no intention of winning, pathetic showing, he deserved to be DQ'd
