I'm not ashamed to say that I thought Ngannou would fair better than he ultimately did. I'd been more optimistic than most in the build up to the Fury fight too.
I fancied Francis to go after AJ in this fight and at least take something out of him, while admittedly gambling on his own conditioning level for a boxing match. In the end he pretty much gave Joshua the most inviting, gift wrapped target he possibly could have.

Yeah but the
going after I'm talking about is De La Hoya v Quartey 12th round sort of level, go absolutely bezerk.
Actually that might not have worked out too well.

I don't really think there's anything Frank could have done, it's about levels, and also styles. I said somewhere before the fight, that Joshua's a good long to midrange puncher, and that he could hurt him early, which he did.
