I read in the paper yesterday the radio rights in Britain were not sold - Fury apparently hates Talksport. So you won't find it on the radio, apparently.

I always find it extremely difficult to pace a PPV properly, I either start drinking too late and hardly feel drunk by final bell, or I start too early and end up totally bollocksed halfway through the undercard. It's a bloody tightrope.

Got 1 bottle of ale and 3 bottles of stout which I'm hoping to sip throughout most of the evening. Might hit the spirits cupboard for the main event.

Has i posted , i'm going to a mates who's paying for it , But i'm buying it anyway , the missis is'nt invited to the boys morning out so i'm putting it on and she can get up to watch the main event , show starts here at about 2.30 am , i'm off to bed in a minuite its 11pm now , so i'll get up watch the prems , and leave for my mates just before Jai comes on he only lives 5 minuites up the road , I'm paying for it its just not worth taking the risk of it glitching and cutting out with a stream , because if it does the missis is likely to roll up with her rollers in at 7am , All them islander lads are already shit scared of her , don't want them to get more scared

On a side note she's already saying if its finished for 9 , give her a ring and she'll come pick me up if i've been drinking, got news for her , its already been discussed and agreed which pubs are opening and got a band on in the afternoon , she'll be lucky if she sees me before mon morn pumped for this one , To make my day that young fella will go lay a formal charge against John Fury and have him arrested 1 hr before the fight , the furys think there masters of the get in your head game , but would'nt that be a cracker

As for the comment of why a boxing fan wouldn't pay for it....I don't think it's as historic as is being made out. Only reason we haven't had undisputed for 25 years is because of boxing's own stupidity. Wilder and Joshua should have sorted it years ago.

Plus I'm not keen on paying when the Saudis are rolling in it and doing it all for clout.

I also think it will be a poor fight stylistically. I'd pay for Joshua v Fury but this just doesn't have the same pop I'm afraid

Biggest fight in a long long time.
I'm still a bit undecided about the outcome. Fury knows how to win, what he has to do to win, and wouldn't care if keeping it long using a jab-cross-body shot then clinch and maul routine made it a stinker but got him the victory.
The Ngannou performance has no bearing on this, he clearly didn't train properly and took him lightly. He looks in shape though and will have a game plan and back up plan.
I see Usyk as being the more skilled of the two and will be the one setting the pace. He makes his opponents work and constantly think with his feints and movement. Fury seems to be burning a bit more nervous energy pre-fight than i've ever seen before and he'll have his stamina tested to the full.
I think Usyk might nick it over the final rounds with Fury's legs beginning to tire and becoming a more stationary target.

Don't have a tv license anymore. I have a great fishing rod. I been invited to go out but I really can't be bothered to stand in a packed pub watching with a bunch of casuals. Rather just watch it on the couch and go to the carboot at 6am tomorrow

I'm glad I paid the 25 quid as it was worth it, some decent fights and the main event was a lot better than I thought it was. Much better value than a main event and the rest womens fights and mismatches that has become the norm
