This needs a huge undercard.
No way Joshua gets millions for another 15 mins of fighting
They want to do this card as a 5vs5 - queensberry vs. matchroom
There are still some great matches to put on there:
1. Dubois vs Joshua (IBF title fight)
2. Chisora vs Hrgovic
3. Wardley vs Huni (Vacant Commonwealth Belt)
4. Berinchyk vs Stevenson (WBC & WBO Unification)
5. Noakes vs Cruz
6. O'Leary/Lee vs Paro/Smith/Catterall/Prograis
7. Cacace vs Wood/Nunez/Castro/Hernandez/Barrett (IBF title fight)
8. Davies vs Akhmadaliev

Hopey Price v Nathaniel Collins was talked about for the first one, both have been out long term.

It will never happen but a Hughie Fury - Joshua fight would sell

AJ sells big whoever he is fighting, even if I got the job!

Yup but there are a lot of positive PR angles here
Of course it would definitely sell, the Fury name means something

even with the fury name i think hardly anyone cares about hughie, didnt his dad say they've had to take most fights for free lol
12 years into his career he's still an undercard fighter on domestic cards. he's even done small hall not too long ago
theres a load of furys , the names been saturated

Nah it would take a couple of stories in the main newspapers eg The Scum and the casuals would be begging for it.

nah, hardly anyone cares about hughie, if it were that easy his career woulda been much bigger news than it has been
as i said, theres like a billion furys these days, the name isnt enough
hughie boxed small hall not long ago, prob had to pay his opponents purse. thats how marketable he is

Doesn't matter how marketable Hughie is
AJ is in the other corner

yes but surely you can see the Fury angle adds a dimension? There could be no better build up for a Joshua-Tyson Fury match than AJ beating Hughie.

I don't think another Franklin or Helenius would sell. They struggled last time by his standards.

AJ v Franklin/Helenius was nowhere near sellouts and the 02 wasn't even set up for full capacity for those events. Infact they wasn't even PPV. Before Hearn got the Saudi lifeline, they didn't know what to do with AJ as the maths were no longer adding up.
Saudi obviously changed everything, but the days of AJ doing massjve business outside of this set up/against lesser names are well and truly over. That will only get worse now that he's been smashed against a fellow Brit.

Nice story from Kevin Mitchell, after his brother died on a motorbike age 31, when Joshua called him
“He [called me] and said, ‘Is your mum there? Can I speak to her, please?’ We’re all worried about burying my brother, how will we get money, we’ve all got mortgages to pay and no one’s working. I was stressed, I was under a lot of pressure, and he went, ‘Alice, do you mind if I get it?’ My mum didn’t quite hear him. He went, ‘I’m going to pay for his funeral, Alice, if you don’t mind.’ And he paid for it,” said Kevin
