Another pointless fight for Dalton against a hopelessly overmatched opponent and tbh i've never heard of the guy whose "world title" he's mandatory for.

How can he be in such a red hot division and yet never fight anybody of any consequence ?

Maybe his handlers don't have as much confidence in him as the DAZN cheerleaders do

This isn't ideal prep for a world title fight , the guy he's fighting looks tiny and a weight division apart at least.
Smith on Comms backpedaling on the " he's clearly the best domestic fighter " in the division, before name dropping Azim .
I really think he's been matched carefully ( well) .
I hope it does come good for Smith as he seems like a decent grounded lad but I think world titles is too early for him ATM .

That’s really unfair. He’s a gritty guy and quite slick. Just small at the weight and not a puncher

Aw c'mon - this is farcical.

I know he's giving everything to last 12, but it's a joke, not a fight.

I've watched most of the card and apart from the Arg -kelly fight nothing has been competitive.

It's poor from matchroom , really poor .

WTF was the point of that shite ? :maybe:

Dalton got worse fighting him.
As said above - that was no prep at all for a WT tilt, even a Euro.
And yes Germain did well to last, but normally tough survivors win our hearts and I hope we never see him ever again.

Is he even top 3 domestically ? Catterall beats him, Azim looks more impressive than him, does the ghost of Josh Taylor still have enough to beat him.

It's not Dalton's fault but all the talk of him being a world champ in waiting perfectly encapsulates what's wrong with all this alphabet title shite that holds the sport back.

I think he'd edge El Gatto 116-112, probably KO The Assasin, but soon that will flip and surely Taylor @ 140 would be He-Man vs Skeletor.

He was terrible tonight, but blame the matchmaker a bit.

118-106 but wasn't impressed with Smith tbh, too conservative for my liking, he dominated Germain but despite the 3 knockdowns never thought he was getting the KO, Germain was a pest and never stopped moving, his legs were impressive and he was a bit of a jack in the box, Smith couldn't pin him down, he put him down with a sweet left hook right at the end of the 2nd but didn't have time to follow up which was a shame because Germain was hurt, after that Smith boxed within himself, stalked Germain, walked him down, tried to break him down to the body but as I said Germain was a pest and was slippery, Smith was content to pressure with his feet and was winning the rounds without anything spectacular, he got another knockdown in the 11th, right landing to the body via the back of the arm, he then got a point off for low blows in the 12th but a jab from Smith had Germain down a third time before seeing it out

Crap fight and a crap card in all honesty, Agyarko and Kelly was decent but all in all bang average
