I don't think he squandered anything. I think he went as far as he could. His failures aren't down to lack of effort.

He is decent fighter and he does try his best. Can't really knock him on that.

His opponents, as we know, bar his title tilts and to a lesser degree, Arthur have been woeful. 'Allegedly' his team have let him down on that front.

Tough on him as I believe he is better than British / Euro level but a tad unlucky that he has had Kovalev, Beterbiev, Bivol and Benavidez all in and around him. A tough ask for most fighters.

I don't think the problem is that he lost to those guys, it's that he's done nothing to prove he could beat Smith, Buatsi, Ramirez, Morrell and plenty of others. Is he actually any better than Craig Richards, Hutchinson, Taylor or Parker? He might have higher level losses but he has lower level wins than most of them. I'm not even sure he has a win inside the top 50 that isn't Lyndon Arthur, and he was only in the top 50 because he beat Yarde.
