My heart goes out to Ricky, must have been in a dark place. If had a few drinks that can make the dark place darker.

Unfortunately Ricky would have been in a place where he thought everyone would be better off without him. Must have been terrible for who found him too. The sight of a person hanging won't be easy to shake off.

If there is any warmth in this it is that Ricky has finally found his peace.

It's mostly positive with their stories regaling Hatton's career, but they get the balance right and touch on the darker parts too. They both have to compose themselves once or twice.

You know for some unknown reason which i dont know this death has got me thinking a d like everyone else i think awful .. terrible ...tragic ... and all the other things associayed with this kind of thing .. BUT then i think i just like most people would say would DIE FOR MY KIDS and like most others i would mean it ........ BUT i would also say I WOULD LIVE FOR MY KIDS what i mean by that Is simple i just could.nt put my kids through what his familly is now gonna go through

You aren't in your right mind, it's not logical, it is an illness.
In fact for them it isn't a selfish act, you genuinely think the world will be a better place without you.

You really have to be in a very dark place to even consider that. Being clinically depressed is like living in a nightmare. I feel so sorry for him and his family. Head injuries can lead to personality changes, mood swings and depression. I always felt like there was something deeper to his moods than just him feeling ashamed of his losses: all boxers lose, apart from a rare few.

He was brilliant in his day. All the drums in the crowd and that. Fought some of the best fighters ever, really brought it in his prime. RIP.

Remember when he described Joe Frazier being "brown bread", cockney rhyming slang for dead? Such a respectful way to describe the warrior who was heavyweight champion, always fought men bigger than himself and took part in the most epic trilogy the sport has ever seen. Classy guy is Bunce.

Suppose it has to be something like that..you could.nt possibly be in the right frame of mind to leave your kids and close familly feeling the greif there going to feel. Its sad . The fact that i have nevet felt that way i suppose is what makes it hard for me to understand how and why someone else would but it happens and it happens a lot. When i cast my mind back i can think of an awful lot who have tread down that dark path . Makes me think it must be with people most thete lifes . Wherass in the pasti.ve always thought maybee lonliness was the cause but its got to be more than that

I can't wrap my head around it. Could not imagine leaving my family and especially my children voluntarily. I feel so sorry for him. People urging others to 'talk about your problems' - what conversation could help someone like Ricky Hatton? Famous and hugely popular British boxing legend, took part in some mega fights, had epic wins, was obviously wealthy and lived in what looks like a mansion, loving family, and he still wanted out... it's totally beyond my comprehension. At least he's at peace now.
