John Hedges vs. Pat Brown | DAZN - 19 September 2026
Re: John Hedges vs. Pat Brown | DAZN - 19 September 2026
Low and behold this isn’t actually Mansilla’s first visit to the UK. Last year he came over and stopped a 19-0 American on a Misfits card in Derby.
Make of that what you will.

I feel sorry for the people at the arena who had to sit through that. Shocking fighter to put in a co main with that style, completely stunk out the place and ruined the atmosphere.

I don't know, couldn't take anymore and sacked it off.

I was hoping the c*** would stay in America where he’s been posting on Instagram, trying to flog his book, his love letter to Ricky as the feckless baboon puts it.

Brown doesn't know how to slip a jab at all. Can't have your lead hand low without any head movement.
Close first round with a low pace, I think Hedges landed a bit more.

He threw a few good-looking lefts early, but then started arm punching. I think he felt the strength of brown and he’s backing off already.

Hedges looked hurt for a few seconds but did better overall in round 2.

Brown doesn't throw enough and has trouble getting into range.

Brown looks like he's blowing a bit to me.
Re: John Hedges vs. Pat Brown | DAZN - 19 September 2026
Not much of a repertoire from Brown so far. If he’s going anywhere he really shouldn’t be contained like this for too many rounds.

Brown put a lot more into round 5 and finally landed good shots. But he looks tired. 48:47 Hedges

Nice left hooks to the body and Hedges quits.
Re: John Hedges vs. Pat Brown | DAZN - 19 September 2026
Hedges counted out in the 6th from body shots.

Thank God for that, the body shots save the day and bomber brown rolls on
Re: John Hedges vs. Pat Brown | DAZN - 19 September 2026
I felt that 2nd knockdown all the way from California
Re: John Hedges vs. Pat Brown | DAZN - 19 September 2026
Hedges didn't bring much tbh, never seen him before and didn't look as if he carried any power.
Nice win in the end but still not completely sold.

Smith claims Hedges "couldn't get up" but Hedges did get up and walked back to his corner just fine as soon as the ref called it off. He decided not to get up. He quit.

Re: John Hedges vs. Pat Brown | DAZN - 19 September 2026
Why was the referee letting Hedges away with blatant holding for so long
Re: John Hedges vs. Pat Brown | DAZN - 19 September 2026
That ending seemed a bit strange. Maybe Brown is that heavy handed but they didn’t look the biggest of shots

Why is there always a gaggle of women to adorn the winner with belts ? Who are they.
