100% agree. He ain't selling out Spurs or Wembley unless he fights Mayweather or Pac. I don't think him vs Ryan Garcia does 80k.

Mayweather could be 70 years old and pick Benn to pieces. Hey that I might actually watch

Are we underestimating Benn's value or are Zuffa overestimating it?

I mean when I saw 8 figures, which is 10million, for 1 fight? I mean I just fail to see who the hell he can fight and generate the buys to cover that plus everything else ffs. Yeah I'm sure him and Eubank covered that but neither do that vs anyone else.

It's just like when LIV golf was starting out, they need to pay over the odds to get some names over there. Fights wise, is there anything Zuffa can offer him that Matchroom can't?

The only person who he can generate that against would be Mayweather.

But Floyd was selling out based on him being p4p #1. I doubt 50 year old money grabbing Mayweather has as much appeal but he has a lot of experience building and selling fights. Benn is not a likable guy and not a name. You usually need someone who has some value as a "good guy" vs the "bad guy" in Mayweather, that's how Floyd operates but Benn won't be able to be the "good guy" with the UK behind him. He was already seen as a petulant cheat and now his image has gone even further into the bin.

Dan Rafael and a couple of other people are saying something even bigger than the Benn move to Zuffa is incoming.

Think as well, like the PED situation, this Zuffa move will turn a lot of people off him, he's like the English Ryan Garcia, all style little substance

Knowing Conor, he took Hearn not immediately pushing a new deal in front of him as ‘disrespect’.

I just can’t see who it could really be…

Ryan Garcia? (Surely that would of waited on the result of this fight…)

Haney?

Tank?

Pac?

PAC is the only person I can think of that Benn would be favorite against and generate enough for him to make 8 figures….

So I guess Benn is in a live one?
if it's any of them, Zuffa may have bought the most expensive sacrificial lamb in history
Its a 1 fight deal... so they arnt going to give him 10 million for a gimmie...

Also, with the streaming modal (paramount) i assume the strratergy is get a fight that UK fans will sign up for the 6 bucks a month or whatever, and then hope most of them forget to unsubscribe.

Benn’s a pudendum but let’s not pretend Hearn did it for any other reason than because he saw £ signs.

Isn't that what running a business is all about?

You know cant help but think theres actually more to come out . Reason why you have pundits ,boxers , managers ,all saing you cant blame him because its a massive amount of money and he needs to look after himself ....BUT couple years ago he was finished and broke Hearn lent him money and bla bla bla . HEARN THEN GOT HIM THE Eubank fights and made him a multi millionaire . Now fast forward i doubt very much that Heaern expected Benn to fill out a stadium be on ppv in his next fight for a couple hundred grand and a block of chocolate.. No Hearn would of expected to pay in the millions . So what you have to do is subtract what Eddie would of offered for a probable sure win plus more dates against the 10 mill offered for one fight and i doubt if there would be all that much in it Ok maybee a mill or two . But when your talking about dumping the people who looked after you for a one fight couple mill more well it is a lot of money but for a multi millionaire its not lufe changing ....This is what makes me think theres more too come
