Yup, fight week. Anyone else going to the fight?
Nice little meet up at lakeside for a few beers?

It's a horrible mismatch with a poor undercard. I think fans know Dave just isn't up to it.MasterG wrote: ↑11 May 2026, 06:17 Loads of tickets still available. To be fair I thought this would sell out. I thought Dave had a decent following.
I'm guessing Queensbury will be issuing free tickets in a few days for this fight. If that's the case I'll be snapping a few up for anyone who wants to go free!, well of course just pay the booking fee.

Mick it's an NHS ticket site. If you fancy a couple let me know and I'll book them for you.
I'm undecided. I'll let you know, thank you.
If Hrgovic is half interested in this fight Allen will get a right good hiding. Look at the right hands DD shipped in the first few rounds of their fight.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑11 May 2026, 16:48 classic dave allen. he loses and then people talk him up for an even bigger fight
Dave isn't a hometown hero. He's as big nationally as he is there. He has built all his following through social media, he doesn't have an original fan base at all. And he's not the home fighter. It's a Queensbury show.veriton wrote: ↑12 May 2026, 02:12 It's a very strange match because the hometown hero is being served up for a beating at the hands of an uninspiring world contender.
I'll watch on TV but have no interest in seeing it live, even though it's an easy place to get to via train and even if the ticket is free.

This is more like it. A glimmer of hope.handsofstone wrote: ↑12 May 2026, 08:05 If Allen has any chance of winning, he has to take advantage of Hrgovic's lulls, he showed glimpses of opening Makhmudov up, he has to do better against Hrgovic, put it right on him
