Shoeing my age I’ve just woken from a nap, thought I’d missed the Dykes fight, phew!

My missus is at the hairdressers so this is a rare occasion I can watch the prelims without her moaning about it. Stop the chit chat and get the next fight on

Dykes seems undisciplined going off his boxrec. Weight ballooning in some fights and heavy again. Dychko should get him out of there early.

Dychko is robotic. Almost lazy looking in the ring

Yeah an awful fighter really. Low volume and looks gassed. Dykes looking as fat as a pig though.

He’s one of the hardest working kids in the sport and took this on ten days notice - against a giant. Game as you like.

Dykes simply not throwing enough punches, keeping at range and trying a few back of the head shots when in close.
His movement is ok, but getting through the rounds without too much risk.

They both look limited. Dykes looks worse. Dychko is just flinging out a right hand counter with no power in it and winning off that.

Dychko isn't doing his reputation any good here , but such a performance might oddly put him into a bigger fight as he'll be seen as low risk and beatable.

I've never wanted a crooked decision before but I would welcome Dychko losing this fight because he is so boring.

SD win for Dychko. He’s very boring to watch. Should have been UD but fair play to a full time worker taking a short notice fight he didn’t get stopped or dropped (the drop in round 1 was a fall over).

Dychko seems a nice guy, but fvck he’s a hard watch. Shame Dykes was so heavy, really needs to not blow up so much.

A split decision was bonkers btw.

There is a lot of flab on that dude.

realistically i dont think harvey will find that major backing. a non punching flabby 6 footer already with a blemished record just isnt appealing. his style isnt fun either. ya dychko barely threw but harvey barely threw much more.

he could get some good work as an opponent though, and those fights will pay. he looks durable so far and isnt a ko threat. doesnt throw many shots. house fighters can get in rounds vs a guy who wont work them too hard or wipe them out.

Any fishing spots available for this one?

lets be realistic here, he's not going to make cruiser. he probably could with discipline, but we hardly ever see these long time pudgy guys just turn it around, drop 40 pounds suddenly and then make cruiser consistentlly. also, why does he need backing not to be flabby? hes chubbier than the average bloke who just works out casually a few times a week

also, im not sure he'd carry power. plenty of cruisers move up to hw and are still hurting /stopping guys at hw. harvey has shown 0 power at hw. hes a good mover with some speed and tricks, not a puncher
