Said it for a long time , WHY oh WHY , do promoters put there good money up to BUY easy wins for someone who obviously has not got the goods , when theres lots of fighters out there with the goods who cannot get a sniff in , really got me stumped .
Give Hearn is due at least he has refused to do it , if its true what he said in an interview , about Fisher only wanting easy fights and refusing decent fights
Apart from Conor Benn's whole career. I would be more inclined to believe Fisher got offered a better deal, than Hearn suddenly developed a conscience about delivering proper fights for the fans
Nice
There is only one constant with Eddie - if there is £££ in it, he will do it.

I’ve got this little feeling we won’t see this opponent opposite Fisher on the 26th and we will get a late unprepared opponent.

A light punching guy with a flattering record perhaps?

A night out, with a good atmosphere, a few beers and a curry, an excuse for a night out with the boys

TRUE , but personaly i'd rather go watch some ameteurs and get some 50-50 fights , rather than some big overweight heavy struggling to do the rounds

You mean they've suckered people in with the promise of someone they never heard of, then at the last moment will replace him with someone else that nobody has heard of?

Pirotton fights in Muhammed Ali black and white shorts. But they are way too short ! I've noticed tiny shorts creeping back in Tennis. This must never happen again !!!

Truly awful. Surely the so called bosh army must be realising the wheels have fallen off the Fisher train?
Anyone seen Pirotton?
EDIT - just watched some YT vids. He’s awful. Slow and can’t punch
I imagine after being hurt in his last 3 fights, Fisher will soon be sitting in the gunshy airport lounge anyway

Richards vs Kalajdzic is a good fight. Imagine having two genuine top 15 light heavyweights as the co-main event to two top 200 heavyweights...

Thanks for that
I'll tune in for it, wasn't going to bother with the whole card but yeah, that should be decent.

I don’t think the cards bad. There’s two decent chief support fights & a fun heavyweight fight headlining.
If your judging it against the idea that Zuffa are coming in to take over the sport then I get why you might be disappointed but if that does happen it certainly won’t be happening in their first couple of years.
I’ve always said I only need 3 fights. I’ve no interest in having good fights on at 6, 7pm when kids are still up & you’re eating & not settled down for the night.

My prediction of the outcomes for the entire event:
• Johnny Fisher vs Michael Pirotton (FISHER — TKO5)
• Craig Richards vs Radivoje Kalajdzic (KALAJDZIC — Decision) !!!
• Cesar Mateo Tapia vs Leo Ruiz (TAPIA — Decision)
• Lee Cutler vs Louie Greene (CUTLER — Decision) !!!
• Rogelio Romero vs Aurel Ignat (ROMERO — Decision) !!!
• Alexis De la Cerda vs Cain Lewis (DE LA CERDA — Decision) !!!
• Alex MacMillan vs Guillaume Azagier (MACMILLAN — TKO4)
• Leon Hughes vs Michael Stephenson (HUGHES — Decision)
• Kayla Allen vs Elisabeth Mronsz (ALLEN — Decision)
• Fred Pullen vs Leonardo Faretina (PULLEN — Decision)
!!! = Correct prediction confidence is low (i.e. between 55% to 65%)

It's an ok Copper Box event.
They have had plenty worse.
The Richards fight got me interested.
