thank you, Tszyu is well known for being a deadly accurate puncher, and yet we're supposed to believe that poor Kostya just accidentally strayed south of the border.
The one which brought Ricky to his knees was borderline, but there were plenty of others which were clearly low.
A referee would never deduct a point for a single low blow, especially if someone had been on the receiving end from their opponent prior.
Tszyu is well known for his rough house tactics, which is exactly how Sharmba mitchell ended up doing his ankle in during their first fight, it was more like a Judo match than a boxing match.

You have to admit that Ricky isn't the cleanest fighter out there either...

No need for the sarcasm.
Hatton thew a deliberate low blow. He had received a few himself. He got a ticking off which mirrored the treatment Kostya got when he threw low blows.
Tszyu didn't complain after the fight, why should anyone else?

You can't be a pinpoint puncher under pressure with a moving target James. The rule in boxing is if you get hit low, hit low back, not a fully fledged powerpunch though.

Hatton KO1 Ali
Hatton #1 P4P GOAT.
Nobody on here is under the illusion that Hatton is the GOAT, we're just sick of Hatton haters like you, coming on here and cocnstantly trying to disscredit his greatest win. You all picked him to lose, but he WON. Get over it.
Hatton is made out to be the dirtiest fighter on the planet, like hes the only one who's ever fouled in a fight. Funyy how nobody mentions Hopkins, who knows every dirty trick in the book, and uses them. Or Mayweather, who habitually uses his forearm to make space for himself in clinches.
And, have you seen Tszyus face after the fight? You don't get busted up like that when your opponent is holding you and hitting you low.
I know all of this has been said a million times before, but when people STILL bringg up the same tired, old arguments, 10 months after the fight, you can understand why people might get a bit annoyed.

When fighting an old legend the best you can do is make him old on the night and Hatton did that. I love Kostya but he does make his fights messy a lot of the time. Hatton crawled all over him and deservedly won. It is churlish to say otherwise.
i was genuinely thinking hatton would win on pts with his workrate. at the end of the 11th my prediction was coming together nicely and he ups and fornicating quits.

People need to realise that Hatton is THE BEST fighter in the WORLD!!!!
He beat Tszyu FAIR AND SQUARE!!!!
The low blow he hit Tszyu with was OK because I've seen WORSE!!!
Witter doesn't DESERVE a shot at Hatton and NEVER HAS!! So what if he is the BRITISH, EUROPEAN AND COMMONWEALTH CHAMPION!!!!!
MAYWEATHER is RUNNING SCARED of Hatton. That's why he moved UP instead of fight RICKY!!!
HATTON Wants the PBF fight. It's FLOYDS FAULT it didn't happen!!! So what if Hatton said he wants RABAH and GATTI NEXT!!! He's STILL looking for a BIG FIGHT!!
So what if Hatton fought 40 bums!! It doesn't matter now because he fought TSZYU!!!
HATTON hasn't done ANYTHING WRONG IN HIS CAREER!!
HATTON IS UNBEATABLE!!! He can beat ANY style of fighter!!! So what if he has not fought a slick fighter like WITTER, CORLEY, JUDAH, PBF, MITCHELL!! That is NOT A COINSIDENCE!! He would STILL KO THEM ALL!!!

Whats funny is, the same people that complain about the world titles use them to their ADVANTAGE in an argument!

ricky's low blow said more than a thousand words could say.
"i may be the young upstart but you aint bossing me about mister, you gotta fight on your hands"
it contributed vastly to ricky's psychological superiority over kostya and it f...king hurt too.
kostya could still beat a few good guys out there at 140 or 147 but his best days - like zab's - are over
(and zab's punching power does not compare to KT's exocet missile of a right hand)

Look, if you read back, I wasn't complaining about anything. All I said was that Hatton had luck on his side. And the rabid Hatton-mania gang jumped on it like a pack of hungry jackals
