Maybe one of the Anderson supporters could tell me about the colours he wears to the ring.
He tends to wear white trimmed with green and gold as I remember it. Is this because of some Irish heritage he has (although with a name like Anderson, I would be surprised) or is it just a coincidence?
Cheers.

Anderson wears those colours just because he likes them, no other reason, likes the mexican type colours I believe. It's certainly nothing to do with football religeon, as some guys up in scotland think. He's got lots of other colours as well, red, blue, white etc, but this is just what he likes at the minute I heard.
With all due respect to Jacko 11, just cause he got dropped in sparring doesn't mean Muttley will drop Ando. Don't think he's ever been over, even as an amateur with over 120 fights, which he only lost about 8 or 9, usually tall southpaws who outpointed him over 4 two minute rounds. Ando did take a few punches when he first started out but his defence is a lot tighter now. Great fight brewing, but just think Ando will win, but the proof is in the pudding right enough.
Come on Terry, Aston Villa can't be the lions den? hell I don'teven know how to get there, thank god I'm not the one driving . One last thing mate, they don't make soft fighters in scotland, just that some are better than others, you must know we are brought up on haggis and Irn Bru

Birmingham and the West Midlands in general is a tough place to live, Mutt has been brought up "tough" and went inside, but i agree Anderson does seem a tough fighter, and in all honesty has impressed me so far in his career. I just think Mutley will win.
According to the man himself there will be 1,500 fans supporting him come fight night, that will make for a very hostile atmosphere, mark my words AVLC will be the lions den. Just like Villa Park is on match days :)

Yes, Muttley will have most of the support, I'd be surprised if it was any other way. Anderson will probably have 2 or 3 hundred guys going down with him, but nearly all of his early fights were down south so it won't bother him. Whilst other fighters wouldn't particulary relish the thought of a hostile crowd, I don't believe for a minute it will bother Anderson, in fact I think it will drive him on to prove to everyone that he is the better fighter. I've even seen boxers freeze when it comes to putting on a show at their home town, the expectation is too much for them to handle. These things can work both ways. At the end of the day it's only two guys who are fighting, if you can use the hostility to your advantage then you've got a great chance.

I know Mutley has decent power but Kev has a good chin and plenty of power aswell
Anderson's record suggests he is not overly powerful but thats because his management team have put him in with the exact type of fighters he needed to fight rather than allowing him to blow away a bunch of glass jawed bums and feeling like superman only to become unstuck as he raises his level of opposition.
He has been brought up at a near perfect pace and is now ready to conquer Britain.
Have to disagree with your good self martin on his defence, although it needs a bit of work I reckon its not nearly as bad as some other fighters and he is certainly no worse defensively than most fighters at this early stage in their careers.
I have that butterfly excited feel in my stomach about this guy and its been a while since I felt that.
I was talking about Kev 2 or 3 years ago and it has been great to watch him grow into someone who boxing fans of the UK recognise.
c'mon Kev

Mutley has always had a tendency to be lazy he will prob admit that himself. When u win the BRITISH title at a weight u never boxed at b4 against a guy as good as Jennings(just look at his record) this tells you the guy is the real deal, now Ando surely is gonna be the biggest and hardest fight Lee will face yet... i really fancey Lee to stop him 3-4 th round or it wil be close on points......Lee has just had a great 12 rouns workout against Number 1 in country at that weight (Jennings) lets let the guys do the talking next thursday

Muttley may box well off the back foot but I don't think he'll catch Kev on the way in, if Anderson moves his head like he can do he'll get inside and goodnight Muttley, wait and see boys.

Dont let KO %'s midlead you: many of Muttley's early fights were 6/4 round run outs where he didn't always look for the KO or apply himself with great endeavour.
With the title on the line I fancy him to stop Anderson, who's attacks can be somewhat predictable. Muttley is at his best when counter punching an advancing foe - Anderson style should suit the Champ perfectly.
Well said....
I do not rate Anderson - Muttley wins by ko - could well be in the 1st...
Anderson stikes me as though he is like Woolcombe - Martin Power etc.
They have good support and some people refuse to see they are very basic - as though they bought a book on boxing and have no natural ability ( ike Muttley) - support does not a great fighter make.
Muttley by KO!

How can Anderson have the basic ability, don't talk pish. He's got more ability than Muttley will ever have, get your head out of your ass. According to his record, Muttley hasn't stopped any of his last 4 welterweight opponents, and these guys are pish when compared to Anderson. Total dreamer you guys are. Ando will murder the average Muttley, and put him back on the small hall shows where he belongs.

Don't tell me Mutley-Anderson is off, please. I was looking forward to it enough as a good fight on its own merits, but the needle on the forum between the Scots and the Brummies has made it pretty much unmissable. Who will have the egg on their face though? I have to say I think Anderson wins.... No chance of me putting money on that though.
As for Ali, let's hope the winner takes him on, because Nuumbembe vs. either Anderson or Mutley would be a cracker.

DG. Anderson DID win the commonwealth title, keep up with the times my friend.

Sorry mate there aint no bitch here, must be someone you know.
Didn't hear anything about Muttley pulling out, wouldn't think so. Where did you hear it about??
Chaddo, Ali may be available, maybe but he wouldn't beat Anderson either in my opinion, bloody exciting fight though.

Where did you hear the rumour about Muttley pulling out??? Was it a good source, or are you just trying to give me a heart attack? Can any of Muttleys crew confirm or deny this?? Hopefully it's just a daft leg pull!
