Interesting point.

It's much harder to KO someone with a body shot, but as we've all seen, it's not impossible.

Mike McCallum was one of the few body punching specialists around about that weight & around the same time as Hagler.

Bernard Hopkins could also do some damage with body punches when he wanted too.

It's hard to envisage Hagler getting KOd; he was freak of nature.

I haven't noticed anything of the sort before. I'll watch the fight back again here soon and let you know if I see what you're talking about though. Rewatching Hagler-Hearns is a treat anyhow. :OhYes:

Julian Jackson,Gerald McClellan, I think if these fighters catch anyone on the chin with there best it's over.

Jackson is damn sure a hellacious puncher, but I frankly don't think he'd ever beat Hagler. If they fought 10 times Hagler would KO Jackson 10 times.

I don't see McClellan ever beating Hagler either, but he'd have a better chance than Jackson.
