Art Aragon took a bit of a bashing in his second fight with Jimmy Carter. Split lips, cut eye, swollen eye. I lost count how many times his gumshield was knocked out. It wasn't a one sided beating though, fairly competitive, but sometimes those fights can take more out of a fighter because of the pace.

Has to be Bowe vs Golota 2... I've seldom seen anyone take the punishment Bowe took in that fight and not get stopped... his corner should have been awarded medals for bravery after that one! :x ...

Some "absorbant specialists" that come to mind.....Tex Cobb, Jake Lamotta, George Chuvalo, Chuck Wepner, at careers end Muhammad Ali, Lacy did pretty well with Joe, Joe Frazier took a pretty good beating at the hands of Ali and vice versa.

I think all these names have been mentioned.....oh Carmen Basillio...getting beat up just inspired the guy. Henry Cooper took a pretty good beating come to think of it
