4play ever heard of a demand curve if you sell for £60 you'll probably get maybe 1 customer on here (if your lucky). If you sell for £30-£20 (and its going to cost you what £2 per unit), you may get 10 customers off this site alone. Then you won't have to write a load of hype and get zero joy.
It sounds like you have got good quality product, but that alone doesn't equal high sales.
And on this last page you've acted like a child. People won't buy from you if you start throwing the toys out the pram mate.

i came on here as someone quite rightly stated that i supply the best career sets money can buy
thats a fact whether terry tightwad likes it or not
ebay is dead and buried for boxing dvds due to a change in ebay policy so all the jokers who jumped on buying other peoples boxing sets copying them onto a handful of sub stadard blanks and re listing them will sell knock off fags or moody watches next.
without sellers like myself and red dragon no new sets would ever emerge
i wont work for free and ive no desire to post here anymore
i will leave you to your bargain ebay purchases
sorry to the original poster who mentioned me and anyone else who pmd me
i wont be posting anymore
Bye 4ever 4play enjoy taking your bat home
1 question if you answer questions and don't just blag about your product. How much do you net a month from Boxing DVDs? I personally think you'd net allot more if you lower your prices and I don't care what you charge as I have no need for DVDs currently.

i would be lucky to make that in a month
selling through here and a couple of other sites,i wish i would have tried to sell on ebay months ago.
If you'd got into it a year or so ago when they were happy to let people sell them, with your collection you would have easily made a couple of grand a month if not more. All i had on there were a few single fights and trilogies, i sold them for between £5 and £7 including postage and i was making close to £500 a month.

I had someone threaten to come get me from ebay because I took 3weeks sending his stuff (in the early days when I was waiting on suppliers). Little bit worrying back when I had a wife to worry about.
4play you need to chill out a bit, not everyones against you because they have a differing opinion. Come here to chat boxing not just to shift DVDs buddy and look outside the box

They could get all the stuff back on ebay if they knew how to work the ebay system. If I was 4playfights id get on ebay and clear up.

i have a wife and two small children, if anyone came to my house , well id take it really personally. I was threatened by a fool on ebay . I am on my way to the gym i box at in a moment. If anyone wanted to discuss anything with me id be happy to do it there.
I need to chill out ? im not the one on here saying people would like to know where I live and that im an arse!!
I will never and have never sold anything on ebay apart from over stocks
Chill out mate, all I want is cheap fights and career sets that come in chronological order, not all-out war. I did PM you for prices on Charles sets.
I do not want to wander into some boxing traders turf war.
I am a frugal guy

Not my line of business, Id be suprised if their not back up at by someone who can see the market (unless ebay have immediate clamp down which I doubt)

Dont worry, I've got plenty of other avenues and connections and I dont rip people off with extortionate prices either... I doubt that your attitude here will gain you many customers... you've clearly shown what sort of person you are, well done!... 8)

, you're a fraud and a liar and a snitch... ... noone likes a cowardly grass mate, especially when the grass is doing the same thing themselves, ...but remember what goes around comes around!...

Look mate, I was interested, why has this all turned into some massive barney. Ok, so you seem a bit more expensive, but if it's well presented, punctual and all nicely put together, I don't mind paying a bit more.
If you lot want to get into a massive barney then fair enough, but it's nowt to do with me at all.

If you've never brought off ebay how do you know the quality of whats sold on it?.... you are the pathetic person, a low down grass who was jealous of people selling fights on ebay, why else would you be so preoccupied with what people are doing on ebay?... its you who is the resentful one. You would have made a good informer in WW2... people like you have no soul and no class... youre just a cowardly snitch!... beneath contempt.

You do realise the same thing could happen to you. If your selling over the internet all somone need do is report it to your server and your stitched up because they'll take you down or someone could make the magazines cease the advertisements etc. If the rights owners ever decide on a clamp down you'd be fucked but I'm sure there are ways a medling individual could ruin your business. Just a thought.
You can look down on the ebay sellers, but I'm sure during their peak they would have had sales that far exceeded yours. I've had ebay businesses (not DVDs) and never had the time or need to tout for sales on a public forum

This is actually true, I used to sell certain goods with certain words in the title and ebay will remove them in hours now. Sad because goods that had Ziagra/Steroids in the title shifted quick smart

I supply a lot of promoters free of charge and a fair few fighter too
Also supply a lot of signed stuff for charity dos etc . I have yet to meet any kind of resistance and would of course cease and desist if asked to
I laugh at the ebay gibbons like silkov because they are just flogging crap for the sake of it
Why does no one else make new career sets ?
Does silkov with all his connections?
Out of interest as a small business man whats the advertising cost of a page in Boxing Monthly/Boxing News? Flex magazine charges £1000 per page. Don't worry I'm not in anyway in competition with you I sell supplements.
I see why your annoyed as you've made the product yourself and someone else is making money from it. I had a popular product I didn't bother to trademark and someone stole the name and the wwebsite url.

How is he making the product himself??... he's simply putting together fights onto dvds just like the people selling on ebay and he has even admitted to selling on Ebay himself despite his protestations of how corrupt it is. He is making money out of fights he has brought off someone else in the first place and then whines like a girl when other people sell similar fights for a cheaper price. In short he's a dimwitted fraud...

Apparently they've stopped allowing people to sell copies of copies that have no copyright in the first place, therefore, infringing the rights of people to copy the copies in future, right?

:x
