Yes, It would seem Audley hasn't got perspective on the scale of his own achievements. Winning that gold medal at the Olympics is maybe the worst thing that could have happened to him.
Got to agree.silkov wrote:The fact that Audely is talking about a title shot against Klitchenko this summer makes me suspect that he just wants to cash in his chips and get out with with one big payday.... if on the other hand he really thinks he can go straight into a fight with Wlad and win then he's seriously deluded....
BULLSHIT!silkov wrote: also his constant sniping at Mcguigan was unseemly, nodoubt he'd be willing to fight Barry if he was to make a comeback...
Audley is a tosser. He couldnt even show an ounce of class and look at Jim Rosenthal while he was being interviewed.THEBUTCH wrote:I thought the whole Williams-Harrison 2 affair was a farce.
Danny was clearly in no shape or condition to box. I hope Warren paid him well for saving his poxy show, becuase he certainly shouldn't have asked him to fight.
Danny was no where and Audley took full advantage of the situation as you should do. BUT even in the short time the fight lasted there were traces of the previous Audley, it's just that this time Audley knew nothing was coming back his way. So bravey was not an issue this time at all.
Audley post fight comments and attitude stunk to high heaven. I've defended the guy countless times but this was the straw that broke the back. He and is career can go down the tube as far as I'm concerned.
You're as delusional as Harrison. For all his flaws, Wlad is still a very good heavyweight, especially as he seems to have learnt to survive a crisis and win ugly when needed. Sure, he will never be a great heavyweight, but Sanders is still better than anyone Audley has faced to date, so let's not get ahead of ourselves.SIMPSONS wrote:WTF is all this sh!te about Wlad,Wlad,Wlad?......Audley may be crap but at least he has never been Ko'd by a golfer.
Unless they have managed to do some kind of brain and heart transplant on the Clit then it's only a matter of time before he gets splattered again......and even Harrison might be the person to do it.WTF is all this sh!te about Wlad,Wlad,Wlad?......Audley may be crap but at least he has never been Ko'd by a golfer.

Wlad also has never been totally dominated by a C level fighter like Dominic Guinn, Pushed to the limit by Thomas Bonin or staggered by non punching Mark Krence.SIMPSONS wrote:WTF is all this sh!te about Wlad,Wlad,Wlad?......Audley may be crap but at least he has never been Ko'd by a golfer.
Bullshit to you too mate, you may fall for Audelys clap trap but I dont... if you dont like that, too bad!...overhand_right wrote:BULLSHIT!silkov wrote: also his constant sniping at Mcguigan was unseemly, nodoubt he'd be willing to fight Barry if he was to make a comeback...
McGuigan took great pleasure in ripping Audley to pieces last year and saying he has no heart. If you were Audley you'd be very pissed at McGuigan too.
Bazza loves Amir Khan for fighting bums but had some predjudice against Audley. And PS Audley only refers to Bazza ONCE.
that's the sad thing. we see an exciting performance, then our brit fighters let us down with shitty career choices afterward.silkov wrote:I'm far from convinced, Audely will try to avoid Skelton now as he knows that would be a far more dangerous fight than Williams, if they do fight I go for Skelton... his strength and bulldozing style will be a nightmare for Audely, he;ll intimidate Harrison and push him back into his shell, before shattering it completely... I fear Audelys new found fans are setting themselves up for another disapointment....![]()

But lets be honest, was it really an 'exciting' performance??.... in reality for me it was a decent performance over a guy who really wasnt in condition to be in there in the first place... you only need to watch the second Skelton fight to see that Danny was all but totally shot...viciousmaussa wrote:that's the sad thing. we see an exciting performance, then our brit fighters let us down with shitty career choices afterward.silkov wrote:I'm far from convinced, Audely will try to avoid Skelton now as he knows that would be a far more dangerous fight than Williams, if they do fight I go for Skelton... his strength and bulldozing style will be a nightmare for Audely, he;ll intimidate Harrison and push him back into his shell, before shattering it completely... 250-pounds of left uppercut, slicing up the nose of a fellow tank and dropping him in a surprise performance by a former pacifist - very dull!silkov wrote:But lets be honest, was it really an 'exciting' performance??.... in reality for me it was a decent performance over a guy who really wasnt in condition to be in there in the first place... you only need to watch the second Skelton fight to see that Danny was all but totally shot...viciousmaussa wrote:that's the sad thing. we see an exciting performance, then our brit fighters let us down with shitty career choices afterward.silkov wrote:I'm far from convinced, Audely will try to avoid Skelton now as he knows that would be a far more dangerous fight than Williams, if they do fight I go for Skelton... his strength and bulldozing style will be a nightmare for Audely, he;ll intimidate Harrison and push him back into his shell, before shattering it completely... If Audely were to stop Skelton in a simular manner then I would start to change my mind about him but until then or some other decent wins he remains a big question mark... theres always the likelihood that when he comes under pressure again in the ring he will revert to type and retreat into his shell....
Bruno would probably get KO'd in round 11 or 12 of fights that he was winning, vs the likes of Briggs, Lyakhovich, etcjeej wrote:Who would've ever have thought that beating Danny Williams would spark talk of a world title shot being on the cards - absolute madness. When has Danny Williams ever been the gate keeper to gaining a world title shot?
Audley would have been long forgotten about if it wasn't for the fact that there is literally no-one decent on the HW global scene. If Bruno was still about he'd probably be undisputed HW champ of the world now!
