From Fightnews yesterday.
The problems of former WBO featherweight champion Scott Harrison continue to make headlines almost daily. Today he reportedly strolled in an hour late for a court appearance in Glasgow, Scotland in relation to an alleged incident at a pub that involved assaulting a police officer. He was shown leniency when no arrest warrant was issued. After being arrested last Tuesday on drug charges, Harrison appeared in court Thursday to plead not guilty. On Friday he was supposed to return to Spain where he is accused of police assault and car theft, but that case has been pushed back to March 15. On January 25, Harrison was suspended from boxing indefinitely by the BBBC for failing to appear at a hearing to explain why he withdrew from a title defense in December. On January 11, Harrison managed to stave off bankruptcy proceedings by promising the court he would sell come property in order to meet a £83,000 tax bill.
