I just think Guzman is a better all round skilled fighter than pac. Though Pac has been in with and beaten the the best. Guzman if given a chance you know will not be fazed, as he showed against barios. Everyone expected barrios to be the aggresser but Guzman went in there and took the game away from him. Plus he seems to be absolutely massive for the weight yet still throws quick powerful coombinatiions also is very good defensively. You need a supreme counter-punch fighter like Marquez to beat him. The thing abotu Pacman is he has the best combination of speed, power, stamina than anyone P4P. People talk about his power but his speed and stamina are his most underated. Pacman also came in the ring at 144 against Morales!!!! Thats 14lbs over 130 and he maintains a bodyfat of around 3% from what I can see. If Pacman stays around he'll go all the way upto fighting at 140

Yes MArquez/Barrera/Guzman are all better boxers with more skill but Pacmans relentless assaults will imo KO all of them except maybe Guzman. And I had Marquez winning the first Pacman fight.

Soto's going to get him. Brutal, well schooled fighter, an absolute nightmare for any 130-pounder.

I have only seen Soto once and that was with Ivan Valle, Soto destroyed his man and HBO called him the best guy with the most deceptive record. I have Soto-Juarez somewhere on disk i must fish it out. I have Joan Guzman's last fight with Antonio Davis on a disk as well, i have yet to form a solid opinion of Guzman. I saw him in the fight before Barrios and he looked dazzling, also against Barrios at times he looked top class.

But as Stu said he likes to lie on the ropes and also admire his work. So the jury is out on him, no question ability wise though but maybe temperament/conditioning could be a problem.
