How about Nino Valdez? He was very strong. Liston KO'd him in 3. Marciano has never beaten a fighter that strong or that big.
marciano Kayoed 6'2 215lb joe louis who was BIGGER and better than valdez. did u know that joe louis knocked out nino valdez in 1 round in a exhibition fight??
liston also kayoed a old valdez

NO. I am not saying that they were better than Rocky. I am saying that the top fighters that Liston beat were in their primes, while Marciano made his name with legends that were on their way out. Even though that those legends were hard to beat, even when they were past their very best, but the Eddie Machens, the Zora Folleys and the Cleveland Williams and maybe the Floyd Pattersons would have beat the crap out of Louis, Charles, Moore and Walcott when they fought Marciano.
quite possibly, i rate listons competition very high, but outside of patterson i dont think the other 3 would beat moore, charles, walcott and maybe even louis

in my opinion, Nino Valdez was stronger than Marciano.
as respected a historian as u are elmesrla, this opinion is way off mark.
Archie moore fought nino valdez TWICE, yet he called marciano "FAR AND AWAY the strongest man i ever fought"
Ezzard charles who fought both valdez and marciano claimed marciano was the "strongest man i ever fought"
so common opponents disagree with you
