Mayweather - Hatton to be confirmed on Monday for Dec 8th

I'm not saying 1 Mayweather shot would do the trick, but an accumulation may do if Hattons guard and head movement aren't upto the task. Mayweather rarely presses for the stoppage but he may against a smaller opponent.

An interesting side note is Mayweather hasn't fought an opponent as short and with as smaller reach as Hatton since he was at 130/135

Hatton may be shorter, but he's much stronger than Judah or Gatti.

Hatton is at a reach defecit against almost everyone, don't think this is a massive factor in this fight.

Theres no doubts about Hattons strength and stamina. He may be easier to land on because of his height and reach than the likes of Delahoya/Judah/Mitchell. And then there will be allot of openings to counter because Ricky will pressure Floyd.

Hattons shorter reach will also make it a little harder for him to land shots coming in or from range. Clearly his plan is to close the gap and jabbing his way inside but this will not be easy. Mayweather will make good use of his 5inch reach advantage and his 2 inch height advantage

Basically the point is it is far easier for a 72 inch reach Delahoya to jab his way inside than it is for 66inch reach Hatton to jab his way inside. Continual head movement, forward movement, lunging attacks all followed by combinations may be the solution to that problem but it is no easy hurdle. And once inside Floyd is still tricky to hit clean plus hes fast to side step and counter anything.

I'm definately picking a Mayweather UD, something along the lines of 9-3 or 8-4. Although I won't write Ricky off as hes proven me wrong in the past.

There are legit questions about his strength at 147 and his stamina overall. He hasn't gone 12 solid in quite sometime, and only went 4 vs Castillo, which 1 and 2 weren't that tough on him.

mayweather should systematically grind down hatton. He'll have some problems along the way. I see the ref stepping in in the late rounds to save a brave Hatton from further punishment.

As for tzsyu/oscar, there is no doubt that oscar has by far the greater resume. tzsyus best win over judah doesnt look so impressive now. Oscar had the chin, skills and natural talent to beat tzsyu convincingly.
