it's all about the fighter when that bell goes.

Exactly!
No way Khan going nto make it and last, no one can make him into a granite chinned fighter - that will be his downfall.
Timberrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Cruel... But this has pretty much always been my opinion of Amir too.
If Kahn wants to escape, Warren better match him with Romanov quick & bump him off. Sabotage!

Other than that I'd like Warren to say right you ungratful little prick you may think your Hamed or Hatton but your not, you want it well here it is your next one is Romanov. T Clair's last fight if you look at it shows where Khan really is in the true mix of things , he won a VERY close one against a thai taxi driver Gary is well well finished .
Cmon Fwanky stop eating this kids bullshit for the sake of a quid , you got plenty of money , bite the bullet put some pride back into SN show him why SN are the biggest and best in Europe and most of all show him how without SN expert matchmaking and contacts he will be Facked, Christ i bet managed by his family they would'nt even know who all these fat midgets he's fighting are never mind how to contact them.
pride and SN - never happen - these are the ppl who got in there with the WBO and the WBU turning British boxing into a relentless parade of baubles covering up meaningless fights!

Oliver Harrison is clearly a good trainer, can he take Khan to the next level though is the question? He has undoubted domestic pedigree and has done wonders with Moore, but beyond that what has been proved? No disrespect intended to anyone by the way. But if Khan wants to have a crack at the very pinnacle of the sport (I'm not convinced he's good enough though) then he may feel he needs a trainer of the highest calibre. Some of those mentioned have the expertise and EXPERIENCE of delivering on that level. Harrison may have the expertise, but no proof that he can take it to that level.
That's my view anyway.

Other than Chin, strength and holding what does Hatton do thats far superior to Khan? In terms of raw boxing skill/ability Khan is better

You can't train a chin.
True, but tightening up his defence would help with that. Anyway what proof is there really that Khan has a poor chin. Anyone can be caught and dropped. It's not the best clearly, but Nigel Benn's chin looked very suspect on the way up and he did ok!

I think Khan vs Limond was one of those Ottke-Mundine moments. Accurate temple shot(s) from a non puncher causing all that trouble. Like Mundine, Khan - an excellent raw talent - was burning up lots of energy and took a good punch from a light hitter. I don't mind making the comparison because while Mundine was out and Khan merely went down twice from one shot, there is that massive class gulf between Ottke and Limond.
Khan, like Calzaghe, just seems to naturally fight like an amateur. Flurries with his chin unprotected. Habit that just won't go away. Work on assets in speed and be kept away from bangers. Therefore you'd think careful matchmaking for the rest of his life will be necessary.

hatton was pulverising guys on the way thru.
khan has only taken 1 or 2 guys down for the count of 10 in his whole career.

No you can't train a chin but does that mean he shouldn't get the best training possible?

True, he 'tatered guys in there.
Hitman hit the nail on the head but suppose you can add taking Zoo's best shots , climbing off the canvas and beating Magee, actually doing quite well for the first few rnd's against the number 1 p4p until he got caught. and i'm not even a great Hatton fan.

Doing quite well? I don't think Hatton landed a clean shot all night.

ffs he was hardly getting run out of town early on was he.
for me he took rd 3 and 5.
a couple of other rds were fairly close as well.
floyd took over thru 8, 9 and 10.
competitive action thru the first 7 rds.

Hatton won a single round at best. And how many times did he get his head snapped back with right hands? He did not do well in my book. Keep delluding yourself!

i'm not deluding meself about it.
christ i only give hm 2 rds in the fight meself.
a couple of others were close (still floyd rds).
but he did ok in that the fight was competitive.
it wasn't a total blowout until those last few rds.
he was comprehensively beaten though.
no dispute on that.

I think I had Hatton winning 2-3 rounds but I was trying to give him any close round as I thought the judges would favour Hattons aggression. It wasnt quite the white wash people are making out, you could make a case for Mayweatehr winning every round, but he put the pressure on early btu simply wasnt effective or clever enough
My point wasn't how well Hatton did but what abilities Hatton has over Khan in a raw ability level. The only 2 I've been given are chin and power. Khan's finishing ability is comparable to Hattons, both stopped on accumulation for the main part.
As for chin and power, they develop with age as a fighter naturally gets stronger, I reckon Khans power has shifted up a gear since he started. Also Khan was caught with a really good clean shot against Limmond as he came in with his chin in the air, St Clair and Earl couldnt do the same.
If Khan can make lightweight for 2-3 more years I think he would be favoured against the aging champs and the limited pressure fighters the division holds. Having said that I wouldnt mind watching him get battered by Guzman

Ban HitmanHatton1 and it will stop.

ps. No matter who trains Khan, he gets sparked.

If has treated Olivert like Dirt, then so be it..
But its not the First time a Fighter has had a falling out with his trainer.
Besides, we don't even know what happened. For all we know, it was probably a Mutual agreement anyway, for Amir to go the "Next Level".
If he is not fighting Proper Fighters, thats more Franks Fault than anybody elses.
Look at Calzaghe, another Frank Fighter, took him 4 years to get a Title Shot.
Atleast Khan is seeking a title shot as quick as he can, I rather he get the title first, and THEN defend against the likes of Romonav and Thaxton rather than against tomato Cans.

Which i said Earlier, puts the Blame on Frank, not Khan.
The Sooner Khan Leaves Frank, the Better
