Anyone who buys this effectively is supporting FW's actions therefore encouraging to continue in this vein.
A boycott is necessary, just watch it on a stream instead

Can't blame Hide as much as the shows organisers.
Are you telling me that there was no backup plan? that every other approach was only made after banks pulled out? you had no other irons in the fire? hell of a way to run things

To be fair, that was a pretty decent show. OK, the 2 main events were not spectacular- Manfredo was stopped a little early, too. However, the undercard did include Khan, Jennings V Takaloo and Pryce in a commonwealth bout (I think). Plus no less than 10 other fights.

fair point, but us die-hards watch the whole show start to finish because we love the sport, we can watch it and understand it. A casual boxing fan is the same as a casual footy fan - one wants to see KO's and Gatti-Ward, the other wants MOTD. The main event
has to be competitive in order to draw more fans in. It hard to sell a good undercard with a shit main, its far easier to sell a great main event with a weaker undercard.

"On paper" Manfredo looked capable, if not top level. Gunn, well, sometimes these fighters just are not up to it. Anyone remember Hide v Damon Reed?
But even so, just the name "Khan" on the undercard must have been a draw too.

Hide is bleating over on the sky website about how he needed 2 months to prepapare, so sounds like he did change his mind after agreeing terms, allegedly. Whoever said Hide wouldn't really want the fight looks right, though maybe he just couldn't make the weight...

I would assume that Macc will be up against Banks next, assuming his ankle injury heals in time. Isn't that logical? So really Hide is out of this picture. cough cough...

Out of this picture, sure, but involved in the WBC picture - a much better picture (the WBO is kid's stuff). Unfortunately for Hide, he'll probably lose to Matt Godfrey in that WBC eliminator. Or just not turn up.

Alvarez just weighed in over the limit, 1/4 of a pound, I think I heard. Enzo, on the other hand, looked in tremendous shape. 5 pounds under the limit, with a visible six pack. Best shape I've ever seen him in.

Enzo said he has been bulking up, so it's good to hear that it's working.
