Munyai was on form that night, i said in the Sky interview that "i would of needed 3 arms to beat him that night"..
My trainer still says to this day that Munyai was blowing hard at the end of the 4th, but if my shoulder had'nt of gone then i would'nt have been a sitting target and he would'nt have thrown as many shots which then he would'nt have wasted as much energy..
Munyai is a FREAK at Bantam, Big Strong can Punch and can Box...
martin wats the chances of you taking on munyai again would u consider it or r you gonna go for british title .

Munjai has gone up weight, remember seeing him,i think his last fight at featherweight.Dont know how he ever made Bantam.

Not without a step ladder ..
British Title is my aim, iv won it and defended it twice iv only got to win it again to win it outright and thats what i want,
see what fights come after that...

Power's latest opponent seemed vary tough as a late replacement. Once again Power doesn't seem to have been looked after as well as he could have been.

Yeah,i think Maloney has it in for him,Why choose a S-Bantam as a late replacement when he was training for a completely different style of boxer. If i was Maloney and wanted to look after Power,i would have put a S-Flyweight in there or at least a Bantam in there, somebody his own weight to keep alive his comeback.Martins last fight was against Feather-weight Sid Razak...WHY ?

I thought the stoppage in the 8th was a little premature, Hall was getting through and stunned Power, but I still think he should have been allowed to continue. Still, crackin tear-up and very good support to the main event.
EDIT: I meant 'Hall'

AND you would know if he has anything left ??? who the fornicate are you ???
At Bantam, power can still reclaim the title or even move down to S-Flyweight,which i know he can make easy enough. On last night performance,Hall would be too strong for Davies.

No i do not hate or have it in for Martin Power, yes after the fight we are all wise and yes it was the wrong fight. My matchmaker was trying for other 4 days to re match Martin but there was no one out there at short notice, One name came up but the broad turn it down. You also have to remember that Martin was a former British and Commonwealth Champ and at first the broad was not going to let him five a fight novice at first it was only because he was a little bit bigger then the match was phone to martin and his trainer and ask if they want to take the fight we had enought fights on the bill so if they did not want to go a head with it because of the weight we did not mind. Yes maybe i should have be a bit firmer and may the desision my self but the show was falling a part with sexton woolcombes oppen. both falling out as well. I have spoken with Martin and his trainer and we will bring him back but we may look at moving down to 8st 3lbs to box. It may have be a bad descion to let him box, but as long as Martin has and wants it we will bring him back and i still believe he can fight and win a title one more time.

Firstly good luck in whatever you want to do Martin!!!
Secondly the title of this thread is perhaps one of the most stupid I have ever seen!!! - I have had my rucks with Maloney in the past and have no doubts I will attempt to entice him into some more in the future - but in the 10 years I have known him he is not a "hate" or "angry" man - he loves to wind people up just like the rest of us - but when it comes down to business he knows his stuff and looks after his boxers - although he is a lot quieter than his brother Eugene he is a straight talker and thus his staff and his boxers know where they stand.
After all that - I think he is a right **************************************

Agreed. Respect for FM to come on here and actually respond to what's being written as opposed to Meaty Mick who just tries to get everyone wanking over Fury.

Yeah, I think it is a rediculous accusation to make. I mean Martin Power isn't over the hill or anything and he still feels/believes he is the best in Britain. If he is, he should be beating the Stuart Hall's (no disrepect) of this world.
Maybe Martin has simply found his level. His two best wins were controvesial... aside from Napa, most of his opponents - in his title run, guys who he beat and lost to, haven't done much since.
What good would it have done Martin to fight the likes of Delroy Spencer for the 1 millionth time at the age of 29.

Good luck Martin mate!! It was wrong to put a kid in with you with everthing to gain and nothing to lose!! How are you supposed to be up for it when you thought you were going into a title fight?? You deserve better pal IMO.
Good luck in the future!! I really believe you can get back to were you once was without a shadow of a doubt!!

The title of the thread was just trying to bring attention to Martin Power's lack of protection as far as recent matchmaking goes.
As Frank Maloney is Martin Power's promoter, I thought it made sense to mention him and suggest an extreme possibility as to why Power's recent opponents had been so tough.
