Like a lot of you when this fight was made I thought great match making a faded legend in Barrera against a guy who wants the easy way to a Championship bout. I will watch Barrera's last fight on the net but he looked well out of shape. It's alright saying the cut will heal in time for the fight but what about sparring and training ? ?so how many times before boxers should be protected from themselves here he is a guy who has done it all still wanting a payday

Where's your proof that a legend has signed to fight you? I don't believe this at all, you can't just claim something like that and expect people to fall for it...oh wait...did you say Oscar De La Hoya??

At first I thought you were just plumb crazy...but the more I think about it, the more this fight makes sense. You could well be getting Oscar at just the right time...does he know your mum is going to ref? With a frying pan?

Amir Khan's mega showdown against Mexican legend Marco Antonio Barrera is still on for Saturday 14 March at the Manchester Evening News Arena. I don't know why so many are giving Khan the nod to win.

He is still not really tested. Barrera is passed it but hardly shot to bits, he is still 34, and was up there against the p4p fighters only about a year or two ago.

Khan is still on the learning curve, which does not help when facing experienced guys like Barrera
