What do you disagree with NOOB? Care to debate, have you watched boxing for longer the 5miniutes? And did you name yourself after Ricky Hatton or the real Hitman Hearns?
I've been here for just 1 month, and I've already posted more sense than you've managed in 4 YEARS. You are clearly pretty
stupid, I've laid out my disagreements with you already quite clearly, on several threads, and you still don't seem to understnd
them, so here I go again.
Beating an old, slow, small, blind, badly bleeding man is not proof of being good enough for the world top 10 at lightweight,
never mind the #2 P4P boxer in the world, who just beat a far better fighter than Khan in Diaz (a guy who is in his prime).
Anyone who thinks Khan's defence has improved is delusional, he got hit quite a few times near the end by the aforementioned
blind man. Is that clear enough for your tiny brain to comprehend?
As for the name, it's after Ricky Hatton, is that an issue for you?
Yes it does matter your clearly a noob who's only been watching boxing for 5miniutes and knows F All about sport. Did you realise it took your hero Hatton 29fights to face a genuine LWW? Did you realise after 38fights its arguable your hero hadn't even faced a top10 rated LWW? Did you realise your hero's biggest win was against a 35yo (near 36yo) former great, who had an injured shoulder, who'd only had 3rounds in 18months? Was Tyszu a '1 armed man' if Barrera is a 'blind man'? No he was a past prime slowing great and Hatton gets due props but heaven forbid we have some objectivity. Your probably 1 of the F*ckwits on youtube coming out with racial abuse on Khan fights
Unlike you I try to make balanced can see Khan's strengths and weaknesses and judge him how a developing prospect should be judged.
As for your 'Blind Man' - I take it you give Muhammed Ali zero props for beating Joe Frazier twice given Frazier was actually blind in 1 eye? I doubt a moron like you will know or comment on that question. Why could Frazier land 100s of shots on Muhammed Ali and Barrera couldn't land more than a couple of shots on Khan? Having some blood go near the eye doesn't stop your body fuctioning, but you've probably never had a fight in your life to realise that.

alot of you Khan haters are just so so boring now.
Im not the biggest Khan fan but I seriously hope he goes on to achieve big things and win his World Title because he's British and is an exciting fighter with a chin as a weakness whic makes him more interesting and exciting than most out there at the minute - after all you all seem to talk about him alot.
And the boo-ing was funny was it???? Personally I found it pathetic and find booing any fighter pathetic. Typical British fans who seem to revel in putting down our own best prospects and champions. Many of you are the same about Ricky and its just very sad and embarassing to see. Khan could only deal what was infront of him, cut or no cut he did a fantastic job and was far more controlled and organised than previously. Well Done.

1. Khan hasn't beaten a genuine top class LW yet.
2. Khan has had more opportunities than Hatton had. An Olympic medal opens up more opportunities for you.
3. I believe Tzyu was rated top 10 P4P at the time? Is Barrera? Tzyu had a lineal world title? Does Barrera?
4. Claiming Khan would beat (or even compete with) Marquez shows your view isn't "balanced" in any way.
5. Why on earth would you think I'm a racist for saying that a man who has no chin wouldn't have a hope against the P4P #2?
6. Frazier had experience (a long, illustrious career) fighting with one eye. This was Barrera's first time.
7. Severe blood loss such as Barrera suffered can cause people to become light headed.
I obviously don't expect a biased retard with no logical argument such as yourself to have adequate responses to this, so I will understand if you can't come up with a reply.

Thought Khan looked terrific, he barely put a foot wrong and looked like he was going to hand Barrera his head, cut or no cut. Too fast too big.
Coming off such a traumatic blow out last Sept, he could easily have folded under the pressure, but he showed nerves of steel in there. Great win.
People can say he got lucky, Barrera was cut, Barrera was old etc etc But remember most people on here were predicting an easy win for MAB - give credit where it's due, Khan did exactly what he had to do in some style.

1. Anyone who fights close fights with the top2 at 135 is top 10 at 135, whether you want to admit it or not
2. You clearly are showing you haven't followed boxing news long if you believe Hatton didn't have opportunities to fight top10 opponents pre-Tyszu. Believe me Hatton had all the opportunitues and was getting all the same critiscisms as Khan pre-2005. Hatton withdrew his WBO mandatory status to avoid Corley and Judah fights, he withdrew his WBA mandatory status to avoid a Harris fight, he turned down Floyd Mayweather in Dec 2004, Hatton was offered top10er Junior Witter for 10long years.
And just as your giving Khan no chance now, I was giving Hatton no chance back then
3. Tyszu was ranked top10 P4P but he hadn't got a win against a top fighter since 2001 and Barrera is a much greater fighter than Tyszu anyway but obviously 2classes smaller than Khan, see I can be objective
4. Khan has advantages over Marquez that I think he can capitalise on, Khan may not win but I think he will pull off the upset. Marquez has advantages over him too. I'm picking Khan though, Marquez is older, slower, smaller, weaker with less stamina, plus hes a bit chinny and weak defensively himself
5. You clearly seem heavily biased against Khan, I'm not sure why, allot of the hate directed to Khan is due to his ethnicity, if your not then I apologise
6. Indeed the cut did hinder Barrera, how much neither of us really know, but injuries happen in boxing, whether its a broke hand, a cut, a broke nose, and you have to fight through them. Even with 1 eye Barrera would have done better if Khan wasn't so much faster than him and not giving him a target to land on. I don't think the fight would have been much different at all without the cut.
7. I don't think he lost enough blood to make him light headed
Khan just matched up really well against Barrera, MAB from 2004-2009 likes to sit back, wait for his opponent to punch and then looks for errors and counter punch. Khan landed which most can't do and got out before MAB could land counters and he was doing this prior to the cut too.

1. Neither fight was close if you judge by the scorecards. I didn't see the Marquez fight at the time but 111-116, 111-116, 109-118 doesn't sound close to me. There is NO WAY you can possibly say the Pac fight was close, that just indicates how ridiculously biased you are.

Apart from the cut the fight went exactly how i imagined it too. Which is sad because i really wanted Barrera to do well.
The cut was very unfortunate. It spoiled the fight. But as i said in a previous post. Barrera had too many miles on the clock and was too small for Khan. And Khan and Warren both knew that.
Khan was very fast, but at the end of the day, when his speed has left him....he's nothing special is he.

1. Did you watch MAB-Marquez? MAb scored the better shots by far, Golden Boy clearly bought the judges off because they thought JMM had a bigger future and had Pac's number, and btw for what its worth Ray Hatton said he had Barrera beating Pacman, I didnt though but MAB made PAc miss allot and bagged some early rounds, the broadcast cut out so I didnt get to see some rounds

3. Mitchell was always in the Gatti class, had zero pop and past prime and got a gift against a gatekeeper in Ndou, not to mention he lost to every top fighter he faced
4. Norwood, barrera and Pacman had him down 6-7 times in 4 fights and Diaz hurt him, hes sparkable, Khan may not have the power to do that ofcourse but I wouldn't rule it out
6. I'd agree MAB shots made Khan take notice
7. Its a shame actually the cut was unsatisfactory and I want to see Khan tested in big fights, but he fought a perfect fight none the less, Bomber Graham was in the exact same position against Julian Jackson and got sparked cold. It was a massive gamble putting Kahn in with Barrera but if he had not lost to Prescott and did not have a 6 fight PPV deal with Sky imo it would not have happend.
Last nights fight really did not prove a thing, but now Kahn has a win over a great fighter on his record.
I have spoke to alot of casual boxing fans about the fight today and they all thought Kahn looked great and he did, but that is not really that hard agianst a blind fighter is it.
I would love to see a rematch of what would have been a great fight but it's not going to happen is it, Warren will runs for the hills now, Kahn has got back his hype and i suspect we will not be seeing him fight another great fighter for a long long time.

Khan has improved under Roach and he can improve further, how far he goes though I don't know.
The comparisons to Calzaghe and Hatton are a bit silly really because not many people outside of true boxing fans knew who they were at that stage of there careers whereas Khan has been famous since he returned from Athens with a silver medal, his debut was live on TV and a huge hype machine already surrounded him with people claiming he'd be "the new Nazeem" and "the youngest British world champion" etc. A huge amount of pressure was heaped on him from an early age, and millions tuned in to see if he was the real deal or if he was "another Audley" but because of the hype surrounding him there was pressure from fans and the media for him to be put into more meaningful fights as soon as possible, whereas Hatton and Calzaghe didn't have to put up with that until later on in their careers and were able to develop quietly and out of the limelight.
I guarantee if Hatton or Calzaghe had an Olympic medal to their names when they turned pro then their careers would be a lot different than they are today.

I didn't see the Marquez fight as I've already said. Pac won almost every round (I had it 9-3). Mitchell was good, not great, but good was what I said. Marquez may have went down, but there is a big difference between going down and staying down, and they were tougher opponents than Khan would be.
I think Khan will never be a great fighter with that chin, he should make as much money as possible as quickly as possible before he loses his earning power by getting KOd again.

OK, Barrera is passed it, but he is leagues above those two guys
But 2 fights later Calzaghe fought Eubank who was no where near as passed it as Barrera was, and he didnt have his head split in 2
But Calzaghe was 25 when he fought Eubanks with a longer amateur career, Khan is 22 and who knows what he'll do in his next 2 fights

Quite agree.

7. Its a shame actually the cut was unsatisfactory and I want to see Khan tested in big fights, but he fought a perfect fight none the less, Bomber Graham was in the exact same position against Julian Jackson and got sparked cold. Thats why I say let him sink or swim against Marquez now though, hes coming into his prime so let him loose on a great slightly faded fighter in Marquez
The Herol Graham point is one I was thinking of last night. Jackson was blind and Graham got reckless and it ruined his legacy. But he is loved on here, even though he threw away a world title.
I think Hitman's point about "you must be biased to think Khan would have a chance against Marquez" (or something like that) is ridiculous. Khan is so fast and (at best) accurate, he would cause problems for anyone, Marquez included. I don't think he is ready for Marquez, but saying writing him off smacks of someone who spends too long reading the very negative posts on here.
