I haven’t bet on boxing for ages but I think if the fight comes off I’ll be sticking £20 on Whyte to win by stoppage. It’s a story as old as boxing; the talented champ gets complacent and coasts, while the professional, hungry challenger comes in and rips the titles off him.

Maybe he's built that way? Why on earth would you employ a full time top nutritionist to over eat? Do him and Joe Parker sit in the cafe all day?

Obviously I’m not in camp with him. As I’ve said I’m generally local to the area he lives in and have seen him in Lancaster a few times. He often pops up on the local Facebook groups buying takeaway curries and the like, with pictures with the restaurant owners. My wife’s actually been in their house professionally a few times and knows his wife as an acquaintance and has spoken with them both a few times. But that’s pretty irrelevant and was a while ago.

I was simply saying if the fight is say in the next 6 months - or might it be sooner than that? - it looks like it will be a struggle to safely lose enough bodyfat to be in peak form. Like you say the last fight was a bit of a struggle, and if you watch the Wallin fight he looked fairly shattered by the end of that one too. I just think he should be coming in a lot lighter than he’s obviously is planning to. Clearly he has the talent to beat a fighter like Whyte handily, but I question whether he will be able to carrying so much timber.

Del couldn't do 12 with him. Whyte almost got stopped by Parker in the 12th, AJ darent even try fight 12 rounds.

There’s certainly some tempting bets to be had. Whyte to win is 5 to 1. Rounds 9 to 12, 17 to 1! They sound a bit generous. Dopey me can see the suggested fight date is 23rd April. So 3 months to come down from what weight? I’m going to say 21 stone.

Tyson may not admit it, but it's obvious Wilder punches hard.. Don't think Fury struggled in the fight at all.

Del couldn’t do 12 with a peak Tyson who was moving constantly and landing on him from all angles.

Dillian wouldn’t get near that Tyson but we’ve haven’t seen that version of Tyson since he came back. The recent version of Tyson is more hittable and doesn’t seem to have the stamina he once did albeit he’s still got more stamina than 95% of other heavies.

I think Tyson still beats Whyte but the odds of a Whyte win against this version of Tyson are a lot shorter for me than they would have been against the Tyson who fought Wlad/Del Boy in the rematch.

Getting dropped doesn't mean it's a struggle. He was in control for probably 95% of that fight.

TH after the firs round and seeing Wilder use his jab, I thought it would be a close fight, but Wilder ditched the jab and it was a repeat.

It certainly was a more competitive fight than the 2nd.

How anyone can say he didn't struggle in that fight is beyond me.

I honestly thought he was seconds away from being stopped.

Definitely had it all his own way.
