I was just thinking that even if Trump ticked off ALL the boxes on my ballot list, I would still never vote for him. There are just too many reasons to give this genius a wide berth.

Even if the Dems have a great November, I don't see how the senate will get 67 votes for removal. And if they did Vance trance would be POTUS. I think they should just make his life as miserable as they can..

I've said this before but if no one knew who trump was and you saw him in a restaurant, you'd think he was a drag queen. Real males don't look like that or have those mannerisms. So as the saying goes something much bigger is going on here.

If trump looked like a male, male MAGA would be easier to explain. If people didn't know who he was and he showed up at a bar in Alabama with the makeup and mannerisms, they'd beat the living shit out of him.

You might be right about that. But for whatever reasons, people act different about celebrities than they do about regular people.
How many times have you seen an ordinary looking actor/singer being described as hot when they aren't?
Or look at court cases. If a case gets to trial, a regular person has less than 10% of getting off. A celebrity (if it even goes to trial) has a much better chance. Juries are much less likely to convict a celebrity. Part of it due to better lawyers but it's more than that. People just view them as different.

As an outside observer, I think the worst thing he is doing DOMESTICALLY is dividing his own country instead of bringing its people together and uniting the nation, as a leader should. People deserve better - Democrats, Republicans and everyone in between. Trump has demonstrated neither the will nor the ability to do so.

Unfortunately, that is the truth. And it's different than when Nixon was the President. Republicanism Congress just don't have the guts to do the right thing and go against the Orange One.

and Trumps' power won't be restricted as much as people might think. There actually have not been that many bills passed since he has been President. He will keep saying things are an emergency and will write Executive Orders.

But yes, it will be an important step in the right direction in getting the House and the Senate back. And if the elections are on the up and up, they will. However, watch carefully the races that are supposed to be up for grabs. They almost always seem to be won by the Republican. A Representative in Iowa keeps winning close ones. She won one race 6 years ago by six votes! Two years ago, it was by less than1 %. she is very unpopular, but I wouldn't be surprised she somehow wins again.

But you know he will keep trying things. For example, will there be ICE or some kind of Troops at selective polling sites where they know a lot of people will vote for the Democrat?
