What would we say if Fury had two or three losses on his ledger like Johnson? Then it'd be seen as an even fight.

While Johnson may not win, I give him a better shot than the odds that represent him, and that's what gambling's all about. :TU:
Pajkic caught Fury with a good clean punch, right on target, as Fury was standing square on. It was a flash knockdown mate.

When he fought McDermott he was an out of shape 7 fight novice. He is in much better shape now and improved no end since then.

He was not 'almost stopped' by Chisora. No way.

And as far as your "that's what gambling is all about" statement. What gambling is all about for me is placing a bet that I expect to win. No matter what the odds. Fury on points is a winning bet. :TU:

My mate has always been a terrible gambler but he has now studied the form so much that he knows so much about a horse as is what ground it likes does it start of finish fast does it need rousting along that he bets in running online and all of the worthwhile sites(as in ones where you get decent prices) have now banned him or only let him do something silly like £5 per race which I think is totally wrong but apparently they're within their rights to do this

And before anyone says yes I've offered him my cards to do them on at a small fee but he says it puts too much pressure on him when betting other people's money
So the bookies can ban you because you're beating them on a regular basis?

I found an edge on Paddy Power a couple of years back. I was going to the Ice Hockey to watch the Newcastle Vipers weekly and got to know quite a bit about the sport and the teams. PP were the only bookies offering odds on British ice hockey at the time and I took them to the cleaners over 6 months as they were completely clueless how to price it up. On some occasions they even had the face-off time wrong and I already new the outcome before placing a bet.

The maximum stake I can now get on with them on ice hockey is £3.57

Gambling is about sniffing out opportunities for good value, full stop.

If someone is an underdog priced at 6/1 but the real price should be 3/1, that is a good bet to make. The bet is still not 'expected' to come through often, but the point is that it has a better chance than what the odds suggest.

Yes. They screen people all the time, and not just regular winners. I think Hills screened me after I won literally one four-figure sum on Khan/Prescott. They are mostly a bunch of shit scared pussies (my emotional reaction) However, they are really just 'protecting against losses' (their fornicating retarded 'logical' standpoint).

Wow. I wonder how a mate of mine gets away with it then because he makes enough each week not only to cover his losses but also so he doesn't have to bother with a job.

He probably has accounts with all of the bookies and is careful not to put too much on one bet each site. Also he surely does a bit at the shops too

Quigg by stoppage.
England to beat SA in the rugger.

Can't be arsed with Hatton but I got a bad feeling he will lose.

Small play on Hatton by stoppage, main bet this weekend is Southampton to beat Newcastle.

High flying Crystal Palace to beat struggling Leeds @ 8/5 is also worth a punt.

If Senchenko didn't have enough to deal with fighting Ricky Hatton in front of a partizan crowd he surely could have done without our resident clueless guesser tipping him to win

Quigg-Munroe not going the distance (7/4) and Senchenko by KO/TKO (4/1) for me.

I've added Celtic to win by 2 goals v Inverness (3/1) and Foster Jr to Ko/TKO Buckland (7/1).

All in returns £440 from a quid!

Gotta be worth a punt.

Quigg, Shenchenko, Murray and Buckland all to win by KO pays just over 100/1 too.

The ONLY good bet is one you win. If you lose, it doesn't matter what the odds are - you could get 100/1 for a bet you think should be 10/1, it wouldn't matter if it lost

Result. Been banging the drum for Quigg and glad it came in. Quigg looked good and didn't waste much at all. Just need Murray and Shenchenko to win by ko and I can retire.

Well done m8 I chucked a tenner at it @ 7/2 just before the off.

Decided not to back the Hatton KO win, went for a outright Hatton, Murray, Quigg treble @ 5/4

Hmmm, that's 3 from 4. Think I ought to hedge a bit and back the Hatton stoppage too.

I think Hatton will win, but there's a chance that he might get stopped due to cuts/swelling.

Does a corner retirement still count as a ko tko when betting?
I backed buckland for the stoppage with bet365 but i've just checked my account and they still haven't paid out.
