So, is there thousands of free tickets being thrown at people? Looks almost sold out on the seating chart.
The tickets that are given away are not available for sale.
who is giving them away? I know people after some.
I don't have a clue mate. Usually the fighters, the security teams, behind the scenes employees and celebs etc.

Frank has indeed been missing in action for many weeks now.
Is he ok?
He’s spoken about having a bad back. Not sure that would have stopped him from going to the show in London last week but who knows. I don’t think he’s been at their last 2 shows.
Despite that though I haven’t seen anything from Francis and George pushing this weekend’s fight. Or from Bob.
Seems strange as I would have thought they’d be doing as many interviews as possible pushing the fight to try and get traction at a difficult time when the World Cup is on.

Saw an interview with his man Dav the other day and mentioned he’s resting up his back or something along those lines. Frank has said a few times in recent months that he’s struggling with it and I think he mentioned he was going to have a procedure.
It’s a strange time to do a PPV with the World Cup and unappealing opponent etc I would imagine the sales target has been lowered to reflect it. It does seem they are not pushing it as hard - maybe they feel Fury on his own name recognition will get the job done.

If Frank’s out of commission then fair enough but whilst he may be pulling the strings behind the scenes it’s his son George who is the director of Queenberry so I’d have expected him and Francis to be far more visible this week.
Also I’d have expected the main guys at Top Rank to be pushing it too. Not seen a thing from Bob yet. All seems very quiet.

Have a look at Stubhub; loads of the cheapest tickets bought by touts for like 60 quid being sold for a loss at nearly half price.
I bet there’s only 30/40k there max.
Good to see the touts taking a hit.

Arum has started to take a backseat more recently.
Don't blame him.
His son-in-law Todd duBoef is already doing more and will likely take over fully soon.

I have never known a fight which is to determine the Heavyweight Championship Of The World to be lacking so much coverage.
It seems the whole shows success is reliant on social media coverage.

I looked. There’s probably less than a thousand on there.
* it says there’s 888.

I don't think Herbie fought anyone called Grant. Do you not mean Damon Reed?

I didn’t count them tbh… but I’ve never seen touts selling for under their face value for a “super fight”.

It tells you at the bottom of the screen. Loads of fights people take a loss in the last few days. You need to sell in the first couple of days or you’ll struggle.

I’ll still be amazed if there’s 60k (full capacity) there Saturday.
But luckily for you I’m used to being wrong.

It doesn’t benefit me in the slightest. I think it’s bizarre to even try to run the show.

They were originally setting up for 70k. That may have changed now.

Yes.
Martin v Glazkov?
Yeah, but your examples are WBO when it wasn't even recognized in a lot of areas and Martin v Glazkov was for a vacant title. This is one of the top two heavyweight fighting a countryman who most people have heard of.

It's offical! George Warren has just stated 60,000 tickets sold for Saturday's WBC and Lineal Heavyweight showdown. 154,000 this year to see The Gypsy King! What a great way to end the trilogy.
