He isnt a special talent. He probably fights for a can of bear in the midwest circuit and this will be by far his biggest payday.

From when you bypass Latvia to go to America you know they are bringing in Grade A trash

I bet the pregnant latvian that Price 'fought' would have put up more of a fight
Nothing is guaranteed when you have a 34-year-old guy who has NEVER STEPPED FOOT IN A RING BEFORE fight someone with at least a bit of experience. Zelenoff/Hartley is a decent example of this, apart from the 34 bit

There's no info on this, anyone saying they know one way or another is lying. I've got Dawson KO1 as part of a fun, small treble, just based on the fact that Freddie is the less proven guy. (with ZERO experience).

Weekend bets:

200 on a quad of Price to beat Skelton, Fury to beat Johnson, Big Buck's and Trump to beat Joyce in the snooker at 4/6 with Ladbrokes.

Tenner on Flintoff to beat Dawson at 13/8 with betvictor (think it's a toss up but 13/8 is value)

Tenner on Bobs Worth to win the Hennessy Gold Cup tomorrow at 9/2 with William Hill.

Also had 500 on NZ to win all 4 Autumn rugby Internationals at 4/9 with Paddy Power so hoping that comes in with them beating England tomorrow.

Are you laying the rugby bet off at all?

I was thinking of doing that but I just don't see any way NZ won't win tomorrow so I won't.

That's fair enough, England are 6/1 so its not a likely outcome

Interestingly, Dawson is now a clear favourite over Flintoff at 8/11 with Freddie at 13/8 best prices...

for the people so sure Flintoff will win now is a good time to get on...

i had 30 on vassell outright. would haved added an extra 0 if i had the time to study him. why the fcuk was the over guy favourite. there is absolutely nothing on his record. i was just going on boxrec and thought fcuk off. had vassell points in a flintoff ko/price 1-3, so im hoping flintoff wins on points because i went against instincts betting on points with vassell. im always about the ko

Freddie vs Random guy from Oklahoma.

Sold out MEN arena.

This guy has been very carefully selected.

You don't fly some one all the way from the USA to win.

Oklahoma is infamous for padded records, false names etc.

Too much money involved.

I can't see any other result than a Flintoff win.

I've got £100 on Flintoff at 11/10. :TU:
There is potentially big money to be made on this fight as there will be a gulf in class one way of the other. Trick is finding which way the cards will fall. I don't particularly like betting blind and trusting others match making skills on unknown quantities but I've had near enough the same thoughts as Mr Moonhangover so I tentatively bet on Flintoff to win. Not going mad but hoping to get a free weekend out of it.
Free weekend it is. :TU:

I had £50 on Vassell and £25 on freddy ko. Not that often the bookies get it wrong on 2 fights.

Don't think he'll come close to stopping Johnson barring a home town stoppage.

Can't find the winner of Fury v Johnson so I'm just going with a rather random bet of the fight ending between 1-3. Don't ask why, I just am.

I put on last night

Price rounds 1-3
Flintoff by decision
Fury by KO
Cotto by KO

£10 returns £411

So get your money on Johnson and trout because I'm about as lucky as that couple who got kidnapped by Somali pirates

Waiting on Fury points for a treble. Might cover with fury 7-12 @ 5's

4/1 Johnson is good value. It's a step up for Fury and whilst I think he'll win, the maths say that the price for a Johnson win is too long.

Ive done a not go distance double of fury/cotto@ 3.5/1 with ladrbokes. Fingers crossed

It might be good value, but it's a losing bet mate. Fury all day long on this one. Johnson is custom made for Fury.

Yeah, like I said I think Fury will win but Johnson is a better bet than a 4/1 shot and if you bet purely on the numbers, it's one to consider.

Johnson/Trout double pays 12/1 on Skybet...I actually fancy Johnson to be a very, very tough test for Fury.

I'm not trying to be a knob, but shouldn't you bet on who you think is actually gonna win the fight?

Yes and no. If you do decide to gamble, I think you should only do so when the odds are at least fair and ideally favourable. Hardly anybody does that and it's one of the primary reasons why almost all gamblers are well down.

I choose the value method of gambling, haven't done too badly with it. Senchenko KO win and Flintoff win last night were good recent results of 'value' bets.

If you can ignore the hype around 'our' boxers and look purely at records, then you can see that odds like 5/1 for Johnson are pretty big, he might not win, but I think he's much better than a 5/1 shot.
