Trump is so transactional that there is nothing he wouldn't do if he felt he could capitalize on it in some way. The joke about unplugging someones life support to charge your phone is no joke in his case, he would literally do it. The fact that he is borderline mentally retarded makes it even worse. It's ironic that a man who is obsessed with loyalty is the most disloyal man on the planet. Again he is doing damage that will be hard to fix after he's gone. Within minutes of Trump saying he has ordered an energy ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia, Russia launched attacks on Ukraine energy. Will Trump say Russia needs a new president? Me guessing not.

His incompetence in war has trapped him in the impotence of power, which is about to be compounded with electoral rebuke and further loss of power at the midterms. Expect more efforts at distraction, more flights of fantasy, as this reality descends.

Democrats winning back the House and the Senate would be great, but's it's just a step in the right direction. He will just use 'Emergency Powers to do almost whatever he wants.
