Witherspoon/Arreola... I would've expected a great deal more movement from that result.
Is this a matter of the DQ not carrying enough weight? I think this should be seriously looked at, as most DQs are very legit wins.

It is basically a decision on points - a big deciding point by the referee - there is no KO or TKO in place.
As in decisions on points - the shorter the bout - the less clear the decision base applicable. A DQ in the first round doesn't say much about the boxing achievements in the bout.

I guess we will have to agree to disagree... but I think a DQ should be worth more.
It should make no difference if the DQ happens in the 1st or 12th round, as there is no indication to tell us how close the fight was. I think this is a flaw.

He has distanced himself the furthest away from the competition in his own division, more so than any other boxer.
In other words, you have a very strong boxer in a weak division.

Im sure this may have been discussed , but why has cotto gone out of the p4p top 25 ? Is it just me or does this seem a bit wrong? Hatton is still there and he hasnt done anything convincing since mayweather.

Mainly because when you lose to the
#1 guy you wont be free falling. When you lose to someone not in the top 25-30, you free fall. I don't agree with it completely, I still have Cotto in the top 20 but that system is based on different criteria.

So Williams, nowhere near the top 25 P4P a week ago, jumps into the top 10 after Margo's win.
I can see the logic there, but disagree on this particular case.

It's actually done on a points scoring system, u may not agree with the system but it has nothing to do with nationalities
