Fwank has said it’s the biggest event he’s ever been involved in. He’s done a good few big ones over the years, Mike Tyson, etc. just shows what a huge event this is.

If it relates positively to Fury then I guess we know Mick's answer.
It's a stinker of a fight. And I am currently in the minority in expecting it to bomb with PPVs.
Nothing is looking like it will get anything close to a million buys .. for the record I'm guessing somewhere around 250k buys

It’s one of those snidey comments that you can say is technically true.
It’s like when Frank says Usyk turned down more money for Fury, than he’s getting for Dubois.
Technically that’s true - but it’s not the point is it? It wasn’t about the absolute number. It was about what a fair share of the pie was.

Go to the 4.56 minute mark to here Chael Sonnen's thoughts a) Fury fighting Ngannou and, b) gloating in a video (with yes men crowing in the background) about what he will do to the non boxer in a boxing match.
Spoiler alert: He thinks Fury is talented but also a coward. And this is a cowardly act for a number of reasons.

Already they have wheeled out Slo-Joe Joyce to comment how hard Ngannou punches and how he had to use his exceptional defence to avoid the punches:
“Most of the time I was trying to get away from those power shots to avoid getting my head taken off.”
This from Joyce .. a man who typically demonstrates the inability to avoid ANY punches
So if Slo-Joe can avoid Ngannou's punches .. what hope does Ngannou have of hitting Fury

It will make money, given what the saudis will pay, but will it be his biggest show, with record numbers of attendees/ppv sales, absolutely no chance.
Ngannou is nowhere near big enough.
It will of course make money for all involved.
Will the Saudis make money?
I accept Ngannou and Fury will make their millions .. and the fWanks will get their percentage.
But the Saudis? I can't see what they will get. Tourism to Saudi off the back of it?? Not a chance

Its all part of a very long term plan.
But they'll still be wanting some sort of value for money.
They've been spnuking money at these type events for a couple years now - and typically received as much bad PR back as the good .. they aren't changing their human rights policy and seem ever more amiable to Poo-tin and his whole new world order fantasy.
So I honestly can't see what Fury brings? He is again out of favour with the majority of the UK public (just take read on any news website or social media) .. he is clearly milking the Saudis with nothing to suggest he is the type of character to be loyal to his backers .. the guy is a moron wholly focused on self preservation and money.
So what are the Saudis hoping to get?

Nah. It'll do numbers like you wouldn't imagine.
Between casuals, ufc fanatics, misfit boxing fans, and even critical boxing fans it'll be a major sporting event. Take it to the bank a lot of sponsors will want their advertisements there.
People don't also take into account the political nature of all of these matches being held there. This is all being done to make Saudi Arabia look tremendous to their own people (and arabs as a whole) so you're going to have a large number of people in Saudi Arabia alone tuning in to this bout.

The middle east always "make a loss"... they cant pay twice as much for somthing then sell it for the same amount and not lose... but they see it as an investment to keep saudi relevent... losing the odd 10 mill means fornicate all in saudi scales...

of course it will bomb like the saudi events do. the saudis aren't putting on events like this to make immediate returns, they throw down way too much money for that to happen. it's a national image and ego thing and these are just trivial losses for them
