It seems most people thought Holyfield gave Valuev a tougher fight

Haye wins it on my card too, but was it enough to take a world title? Doubtful. Was it enough to win a decision in Germany? Even more doubtful.

Cant see Haye getting this one, its close nut not a chance of the decision out there imo and to be honest I dont think Haye did enough personally, too little too late

i had dirrell winning but i could see why it went to froch.

I have it 7-5 to haye or 7-4-1. made valuev miss so badly. needed to punch more, needed to counter when he got out the corners. it is not like dirrell v froch. haye had a man massively bigger, and boxed a disciplined fight. solid disciplined boxing from haye. he needs the decision. valuev can't get another SD or MD can he?

I obviously saw this quite differently from most. I though Haye won it by 4 rounds. In a similar way to Dirrell I couldnt score rounds for a guy who landed nothing. There were lots of rounds where Haye maybe landed a handful of shots and Valuev didnt land anything clean.

Wow, Im truly amazed he got that.

I'm amazed he has been given the decision in such a close fight in Germany, but he won the rounds on my card.
He obviously had a gameplan and stuck to it.
Perhaps the Germans can teach us a thing or two about how to treat an away fighter fairly
