With all due respect A win over Mundine will mean nothing to the world of boxing, this fight should be a non-title 10 rounder, or an Australian title fight at best.

I didn't mean internationally, I meant he might become a bigger draw card locally, and get more financial backing

AFL is a great game.
Anyway, since Tszyu retired interest in boxing sort of nosedived a bit in my opinion. The Green Mundine fight was big news but Mundine went on to do fornicate all and boxing slide back to being a second tier sport

I was over in Aussie for the Green-Mundine fight in 2006 I think it was, It was big news. I watched it in a pub in Brisbane and there was lots of fights breaking out between rival supporters. You getting to any fights in Canada?

Unfortunately not yet, Vegas is only two hours by plane so of something good (and moderately priced
) comes up I will go for sure

Anyway, would be great if Geale did beat Mundine, and in spectacular style so the Aussie public really sat up and took notice. With the strength of the Aussie dollar it would be feasible to get Martinez over there providing they get a large gate and decent TV support/promotion.
Haha fair enough, different stokes. Collingwood have been one of the better teams over the past 5 years or so. Origin is terrific as well, it's my favorite sporting event, pity about nsw sucking so much recently though. The atmosphere in Sydney and Brisbane is far, far better than what it would be in Melbourne though

Not just Sydney mate, we in QLD outside of the mad lions fans that migrated with the team, have no idea what the hell is going on.
However Melbourne is a city of the world and beautiful, despite thier horrible taste in Football
